Good or bad Friday depending on the result
Bigdoggsteel replied to perthblue02's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
If you combined Brereton and Gallagher, you still wouldn't have a £7 million pound player. I can't see Brereton starting under another manager. Gallagher maybe, in a front 2, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if a manager didn't fancy him at all either. -

The players are in Dubai since Christmas. Holiday camp kick about during the week (training) ,before a friendly at the weekend (matchday) -

Not watching, but sounds like more classic Mowbray rovers rubbish. The team is a walking corpse at this point. Will someone just blow its head off with a shotgun please If you got points for possesion without shots we would be elected. -
Summer transfer window 2021.
Bigdoggsteel replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Ya, cos nobody knows what they are planning or when they will pull the trigger. There is no logic to it. He could just as likely be here next season game one, as not. Would be great if they were waiting to see if Barnsley go up before approaching their manager, but they more than likely have no idea what a Barnsley even is. I think they will do the worst possible thing and keep him until October or November next season, writing off another one to the scrap heap. -

I don't think Mowbray sounds like a man who knows he is gone. Logically they should make the change now to give a manager time. If they made the decision to pot him, why wait? -
Mowbray isn't a winner. Another season of him will have me zone out from the club. It's been difficult enough support the shite we have witnessed over the last decade. To keep him now, in spite of everything pointing to a change being necessary ,would be too much. I couldn't be bothered watching and listening to more of his guff.

Best Foreign Blackburn Rovers Players
Bigdoggsteel replied to @roverseas's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Would ye count Damien Duff as foreign? We have had some good ones; Tugay, Salgado, Santa Cruz ,MGP, Benni McCarthy. Ya actually, I would go with Benni. -
You can't get more to the point and fairer than that. I would doubt those customer service drones feedback any of that though, or are even invited to do so.

Ya, I deserve a medal. Ireland have literally no strikers at the moment. It's a huge issue. It's the worst crop of players in my lifetime in general anyway. The manager is out of his depth, but in fairness he is trying to get them to play possesion football, which I don't think we have ever tried. Our greatest manager was Jack Charlton and his long ball style is pretty much ingrained in our DNA. THey should just let Kenny bring young players through. We just have to suck it up because there is no light in sight.

https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/19193238.la-galaxy-hope-derrick-williams-will-beat-rovers-fitness-projection/ Williams in contention in the next week to 10 days. What is the story with Rovers medical department? Mowbray was saying he wouldn't play this season. Sounds like he could have played at least 6 games

I thought Celtic would have went for someone with a proven track record in management. Keane is a complex character. It's going to be fascinating between him and Gerrard next season though -

I believe it's gong to be Roy Keane taking over at Celtic, with Duffer and Nicky Butt on his coaching team. -
Don't underestimate the story when or if they sell the club. A lot that are afraid to say anything now will be out reporting on their ownership over the past 10 years. I reckon they feel they have to get us to the PL to save face before selling. The problem is they don't know how to do that.
-
Cultural differences. They would lose the money just to not have to lose the club and admit their failure. Thats my take. Awful situation for us. However no doubt if there was a loophole they could use with the club with regards washing money, that's happening now too
-
Has anyone explained how a "handy loss making toy" works? Not saying it's not the case, I just can't believe it's anything less than being inept. I don't think it's some plan to wash money, I think they just aren't very good football club owners.

Of course those in their business circles in India know about us. What other reason is there?
