  1. A death spiral now could end up in relegation. Mowbray out
  2. Turned into one of the most miserable in a while. So much promise and now we are in a similar position to Kean as in wrong man in the job, but fear he might still be here next season. Not comparing the 2 men beyond that, but that's the situation
  3. No, we couldn't afford to let his contract run down. Injury or not he had shown enough up to this point that it was warranted. Far bigger wastage issues going on.
  4. Been like that was the last 15-20 games. Putrid upfront. No cohesion. Like strangers.
  5. Mowbray has been telling the lads all week how good Brentford are and that we are 5 years behimd them. Great sports psychologist
  6. Because our players and management don't know how to play the ref like other clubs. Just whine afterwards
  7. It seems to me if any team is at their best and up for it, they will beat us. We are a very soft touch under Mowbray.
  8. And Delia was pointed too as an absolute disaster. Isn't that list just so bloody telling . 45 games. My god.
  9. A lot of that is indeed true, but they can offer good wages, so that's what someone would get out of it. Plus they used to do pretty well in Europe not too long ago. The way things are going though, any top 10 PL job is probably more tempting now.
  10. He could do well, but to be fair, it all.clicked for him at his hometown club. Prior to that his record was decent, but nothing that would link him with Celtic. I see Roy Keane is being linked and I think for them,Wilder would be better. Howe is being linked too, he could be decent. Moyes an interesting one,but don't see why he would leave West Ham. Lampard ,big no. They need to get it right this time anyway.
  11. Might be a good fit for them, but I would be surprised if he got it. You would imagine Celtic could get a better candidate with their profile, money and constant European football
  12. Why would that be a good idea? He's 73 and hasn't had what I would class as a proper management job in about 10 years. Prior to that his career was already stuttering for years. He basically hasn't been a good manager since the 1990s.
  13. Liking Omega though. He is actually a comedy heel, isn't he? I find him funny. His mannerisms and promos. Also, Christian challenging for the title I could get behind. Loved him in TNA on that singles run.
  14. Other clubs so envious of us.... 🙄 Hopefully they will be, some day. Signs are promising. At least Joe educated you that Derby have the second most, or thereabouts. Now you actually have some info on at least one topic you give your "opinion" on. Progress!
  15. Hopefully we get to find that out next season.
  16. Telling that both are struggling. Hopefully the minutes that are given to academy players now, bears fruit down the line.
  17. Hopefully we are on the verge of something great alright. The next season or two are crucial.
  18. I remember comments from Alex Ferguson about Henderson's running style , I think Buckleys is even more distinctive. Really upright and straight. He def has a bit about him alright though on the ball and his tackling was good last night. The signs last 2 games are very positive. If he has half the career Henderson has had, he will do alright!
  19. "Generally aware" lol Best leave it at that aright
  20. If you have done such an in-depth analysis on it, you give us the top 10 clubs for using graduates? Oh ya, you haven't a clue. Well the key is integrating them and having success. That has yet to happen, so lets cool our jets just yet. Whilst we are in the position we are in, the only clubs envious of us, are those below us.
  21. Who has shown themselves to be consistently better than average at this level? Plenty of clubs have academy graduates. Birmingham sold one for 25 million not too long ago. Now that is impressive. Less so in the top 6 it seems, but the way they are doing it is working for them. Hopefully we start to see more success on the field transferring from under 23 level and also see more of them breaking into teams at League 1 level and below when they go out on loan, because there has been an issue with them doing that.
  22. It's not irrelevant. It's literally the key to the survival of the academy. Big difference between churning out average Championship players and ones that challenge at the top and/or command decent fees. Hopefully a new manager would mean a tendency to more of the latter.
  23. You would wonder. At the end of the day, being top of PL 2 is nice, but if you aren't fighting for promotion,or even cashing in on the odd player, I doubt teams in the play off picture at least are in the slight bit envious. JRC looks good, as do some of the other graduates, now to mesh them into a winning outfit.
  24. I would sign Trybull up if we could. There is potential with him ,Buckley and Dack. Keep Rothwell around too, Travis and Davenport and that's 6 good options for the middle 3 positions.
