  1. I like Tony again now. He's the best.
  2. then gave a free-kick for a dive that led to Norwich's injury-time equaliser.
  3. He bought most of them (or brought them through the youths) for less than it cost for BB's right leg. Exactly, because he's a bit shit in the transfer market and he wasted all his money on BB. The end
  4. You're right. It's the BRFCS hate-core that oversaw the collapse in form and 1 win in 11, were responsible for conceding the most goals on the road in all four divisions, and have to shoulder the blame for only scoring 2 goals from open play in the 1st half all season. Bloody useless sods. BRFCS OUT! But what's that, the suggestions that were made by the BRFCS hate-core (get rid of the nonsense '2.5 attackers' mantra, play Rothwell, drop Smallwood and/or Evans, play Travis and drop Mulgrew) have all been done out of desperation by Mowbray because he couldn't buy a win and all of a sudden we are winning. MOWBRAY OUT, BRFCS HATE-CORE IN! Anyway, ST's on sale yet like at nearly every other club? No, it's the bloody BRFCS Hate-Core at fault again with their shite club administration skills. I could go on....
  5. I always thought you had impeccable judgement. ❤️
  6. Nobody knows what Mowbray's target for the season was. Therefore, nobody can say if he's met his target. If it was lower-mid table he's succeeded. If it was top 10 he may fail. If it was play-offs he has failed massively. If it was avoid relegation he's smashed it. Inventing a target then basing a whole argument around it is just a bit nuts.
  7. I'm sure it will and its good to discuss it with someone who doesn't resort to straw men because they can't back up their arguments. You're talking @#/? but at least it's reasoned @#/??
  8. Can we now say that Mowbray's 'two and a half attackers' was actually a load of old boll ocks?
  9. Mange tout, gumboots, mange tout
  10. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/rovers/news/17586641.mowbray-explains-goalkeeping-call-in-rovers-win-at-qpr/ Raya is a 'fantastic young keeper' but Mogga's told him there will be competition brought in this summer (although he said that last summer) Tricky one. Raya may eradicate the errors if Mowbray stays faithful to him or he may always make costly mistakes no matter how old/experienced he becomes. I think a new No.1 is an absolute must personally. I just think Raya is one of those keepers who will make great saves and drop clangers in equal measure.
  11. Non Etienne Waggott taxe?
  12. One season in the Prem rakes in £150m. We would probably come straight back down but we would then be able to build the 'foundations of a Prem' side from the parachute payments. See Burnley for an example. The alternative is to never go up because you haven't built a the 'foundations of Prem' side . Cardiff have been very unlucky with decisions. Their cobbled together Championship side that nearly went down to L1 has instead gone up a season later and almost stayed up in the Prem a year after that. I doubt they are wishing they had 'built the foundations' of a Prem side. Thinking about it I'm not even sure what the 'foundations of a Prem' side means. If you've gone up then you probably have some good players anyway so by definition you've got the foundations of a good team.
  13. I read it. It was nonsense. Anyway Dack's scored. Mowbray in. You're sleeping on the shed.
  14. Saved a certain goal with some brilliant defending acc to the LT.
  15. We'd be 4-0 up now if he'd played the youngsters. Fact.
  16. Tony's world - I'll blood some youngsters. Real world - Average age of team goes up. #OpenAndHonest
  17. In your opinion. I've seen nothing to suggest he can take us any further and that's the whole point of the argument you are missing. And I'd say its for the very reasons quoted that prove he isn't right for the job. Add in his transfer dealings and the picture gets even more clearer
  18. In answer to your question @Blue blood (I can see others are struggling with your clear instruction ) my evaluation is as follows:- Rothwell - 6 - He has ability but as he's only started a few games you couldn't possibly give him any more than a 5 or 6. Tony's bought him and never played him. Therefore it's a poor signing on the basis of this season. He gets a 6 because he has potential. Reed - 7 - excellent for most of the season considering he's played the most of that in not his favoured position. I don't think he's a 'deep lying midfielder' either. He's an all-action box-to-box type. If Mowbray goes with the 4-3-3 pressing game ( fashionable at the moment because of L/pool and England and praised by Mowbray) next season Reed would be perfect for the right hand side of the 3 in midfield. Palmer - 4 - played out of position and not utilised properly (there's a theme here). Palmer looks like a No10 and nothing else, the type you give a free role. Undoubted ability on the ball but properly not best suited to wide midfield. Rodwell - 5 - Good when doing the football side, good in the air but he's a liability doing the basic defending (tracking men, defending someone running at him in the box). I wouldn't sign him as a CB (maybe cover) but if he's fit enough it may be worth a new 12 month contract. Injury prone and hasn't played a lot, however, so probably not worth the cost. AA - 6 - Not a great footballer but I think he'd be a very good striker at the right level in the right team. He's shown himself an excellent finisher at times. He's never a winger though. In a 4-3-3 a bit narrower he may be perfect. He needs a passer in midfield to give him the ball because some of his runs are excellent too. Chapman - 3 - Hasn't played and didn't play when he was last here (1 start). Lots of potential but not really Mowbray's type of player so no idea why he signed him again. BB - 2 - £7m 'nuff said. Not his fault but whoever agreed that price needs sacking. A young kid who has a chance of being a decent player but sometimes doesn't even look like a footballer. Baffling signing.
  19. If he's given 11 players their debuts in two years that's incredible. I'm not sure any manager ever has done that. I'm really relaxed now lads. I'm just going to stop worrying and enjoy it. I've been worried sick. Phew!
  20. Huge assumption on this seasons 'goal'. Mowbray has said a couple of times that he has had to dampen down the owners expectations. He first said it in the summer. He talked of the need to 'educate' them about a 'slow build'. He never reported back on the outcome of those discussions. Unless you were there how can you know survival was the only target? So, probably not as simple as you think.
