  1. The problem is when we lose, we don't just lose, we get slaughtered. Every, single. time. It's all well and good having a way of playing but if that isn't working you have to be able to revert to a style that wins games. The fact that he dismisses the last two games as just another game after absolute hammerings screams that he doesn't know (or care) how important those games are, so needs to go.
  2. Preston have struggled to score all season and we let in FOUR and counting? Get him gone NOW.
  3. In an even more false position than last season. This team loses easily with alarming regularity and will plummet.
  4. ZERO shots on target again in two of the biggest games of the season. That would get any manager at any other club in England fired on the spot. I swear to god if he has that grin on his face afterwards I'm going to explode.
  5. Homestly if this is what a full month's training camp does get rid of him at half time. The performance against Burnley was unforgivable and to get worse after implementing your vision? Abysmal
  6. I agree with the issues in midfield, but I also think it's a tempo and aggression thing. This England squad is far, far more potent when pushing teams back into their own boxes, but Gareth is obsessed with sitting back and protecting one goal lead or even draws when it isn't necessary. In the Euros final we started off aggressively and dominated the first 5 minutes or so, pushing the wing backs high - got the goal and then sat back and offered no attacking threat for the rest of the game. I'm not saying you can keep that level of football up for 90 minutes but you use it to get at least another before you start game managment. Again against Germany in the Nation's League - let Germany dictate the game. Suddenly we throw everything at them and score 3 times in 10 or so minutes, because we don't allow teams out when we're pressing them back. Even against Iran, we looked ordinary until the first goal, but then we went for the jugular. I just don't get why we didn't even bother trying last night. He leaves some of our most creative players on the bench and starts people like Sterling and Mount who have had awful seasons and performances for club and country. Like Mogga, he's a dinosaur and needs potting regardless of the tournament, with someone coming in who can take advantage of the talent that's there.
  7. Not sure how accurate it was but I saw a couple of things that suggested it was the worst attacking display by any team in the Championship this season. It would be appalling jn any game but in that game? He's taken me from quietly optimistic to last chance saloon with that, especially with the cheery persona afterwards.
  8. The way I see it we have had a few games where we have been lucky to win, but how many have we been unlucky to lose? The performances when we lose make us look 2 divisions lower than the opposition and I don't see that changing, but I do see teams we beat watching that Burnley game and seeing how unbelievably easy it is to press us. In addition on the "Burnley are better and have a more expensive squad" points I keep seeing - who cares? In 2005 and 2009/10 we were in a far superior position, but they made us fight for every single game. We were pathetic on Sunday and if that's how up for it we are in the second biggest game of the season then that is a massive concern for me.
  9. I can't believe there isn't even a proper apology, JDT doesn't even look bothered in his post match interview. Not only that but basically shrugs his shoulders and says "we play like this every other game and will continue to". That he's no longer saying we will be more consistent after the WC is a major red flag.
  10. A team in third in a game against a local rival should be competing on some level. I think most of us could deal with losing, but we didn't even compete. By the sounds of things this was the single worst performance put in by a Championship team this season, and in that particular game it is unforgivable. Stop bigging Burnley up to be Man City or something, even Rotherham made them sweat at Turf Moor fgs.
  11. Also got to bear in mind they were missing key players as well - they'll be a much bigger threat at Ewood and it could get very messy.
  12. Sure, but JDT went out and got his first choice (his words) - Hirst, who is tragically bad. So not exactly a problem he couldn't have solved.
  13. We didn't even try - expected the result but the performance was unforgivable. We are in a majorly false position which I expect will rectify very quickly after the WC. Get me a manager who understands what the game actually means.
  14. Get him gone and give a manager with actual passion in the job. He's taken any player with a personal stake in the game out and it shows.
  15. Honestly I don't give a damn that we're third - this performance alone deserves a sacking on its own, let alone the other seven or eight garbage performances away from home. Zero tactical nous and this "brand" of football is shite. Get him gone.
  16. Because we've had one shot all game, are getting battered and have scored 1 league goal whilst behind this season, gaining zero points from losing positions?
  17. This is absolutely pathetic - we're playing this game like we're 2 divisions below them.
  18. Ref has been bad but we have offered nothing. Continuing to play like this we'd lose either way.
  19. Game over, let's be honest we deserve absolutely nothing from this anyway. Yet another pathetic performance away from home.
  20. Mabe JDT put a typo on his pre-match presentation. He clearly wrote most impotent game of the season.
  21. Whilst it has been working so far this season I really hope JDT uses the break well. He always said that we'd see improvements after the WC but this playing out from the back away from home needs major improvement.
