  1. All they need now, is for King Rat to spot the next Phil Jones, brewing the tea, or loading hampers into the players cars and Bingo. https://offthepitch.com/a/interview-hibs-owner-ron-gordon-scottish-football-packs-big-punch
  2. I would put up if I could, but I genuinely have no first hand information. The two guys involved on here know, but I think they need to be given permission, to reveal it, when the time is right. I am sure they will confirm this bit, as I am not certain.
  3. Two posters in here, know a lot more than me, but a possible change of direction and leadership, along with involvement from people who have a bigger connection with the club.
  4. It seems it’s from inside the club. I have heard this a few times now from different sources, one of whom I have big trust in. Fingers crossed.
  5. I would take 5 caps any day of the week, if only I had been good enough.
  6. I think you have been seriously miss understood there. I got what you meant.
  7. Well here is the news. Hibs set to appoint Steve Kean to lead academy | Edinburgh News (scotsman.com)
  8. I saw the further 9 point deduction earlier and winced for them. Just like us if the same happened, the fans will be left to pick up the pieces, of their failed owners.
  9. I can't make my min up, if buying the STC is a good or a bad thing, to be honest. It is strange how they carry on regardless though, but surely even they must have a cut off point?
  10. At some point, they may realise that the £20m the supposedly pump in each year, means the longer they stay, the more they pay and simply offload it, to stop the costs spiralling even more. No one needs to be a genius to understand that they have lost money on the venture come what may, so it comes down to their appetite to lose even more I guess.
  11. Sometimes in life, people need to be exposed, even when on the face of it, the appear to be doing things for the greater good, but in reality they have an agenda. We have seen certain celebrities, jailed over the last few years for their miss demeanours, but should we have ignored what they did and just carry on being entertained by them?
  12. Just a thought, but why didn't they offer a discounted ticket for the Birmingham game, if both PNE and Brum were bought at the same time? If both were available at say £45 but on their own they were £30 would that not have attracted more to both games?
  13. If people did follow that track, then there would be even more destruction at our clubs. Just look down the road at Blackpool and what their fans achieved. Does any one on here, believe they should have ignored what was going on and just carried supporting the team regardless. Although we are still saddled with our owners, what some people have done to bring it to the attention of the wider population, I applaud, as we would almost certainly be in an even worse position, had we also gone down the route of ignoring everything, bar the happenings on the pitch.
  14. I guess some are voting with their feet, but I will always want to support BRFC on the pitch. I hate what has gone on, but in the case of most players, they are helpless, just like the fans are, when it comes to past issues as well as current issues. Personally I have to follow from afar, as I live abroad, but buy every game I can and still consider myself a big Rovers fan.
  15. Exactly as was demonstrated last week with the Sky facilitated interview of our former manager, who was one again, trotting out, how he was victimised. I don’t think many Rovers fans have much sympathy for him, yet the people who allowed it to happen, seem to be off the hook.

  17. I think some people have forgotten what went on. In some quarters, the reappearance of some fan made banners, has gone down badly, particularly on Twitter. People seem to have swallowed the badly advised line. Certain people have torn the heart out of our club. The FA were given plenty of evidence to support wrong doing at the club and as the banner stated, the FA allowed us to die, by doing FA about it. I speed read some of Glen Mullans blog this weekend to remind myself of some of it and I am aware of more than most. The people at Kentaro and Crescendo we’re far too cosy with the FA for them to want to investigate. Serious things have come out recently, about the people at the very top of world football and although plenty were happy to cover these up to, we are now seeing what has gone on. Far too many greedy people have got away with far too much, but I believe, it will eventually come out. In the meantime, for those who want to swallow the badly advised line, carry on, as I for one, never have and never will trust these owners,
  18. Without wanting to sound over bearing in any way, Duncan is an excellent addition the the Rovers Trust board. Having been involved in other successful projects, including Rovers Radio, he is get up and go and gets things done.
  19. That’s exactly why I have posted what I have, several times, in response to the posts about the sweeping changes. I sincerely hope they happen, but we have seen this before and it is normally when someone is in danger of losing their job.
  20. We aren't and we will survive. I think people are under the impression, if Venky's pull the plug, they will want all of the money back, they have put in and that leaves us like Bury. We would go into administration and someone would come along and buy us out. The key thing is ensuring that the someone, has the best interest of the club at heart and another version of Venky's. Look at what happened at Bolton, who nearly got saddle with Bassini, bit someone so through that and despite his desperate attempts at stopping them, they were bought out, by a consortium, who look like they mean business. My big fear is that this will carry on under Venky's for some time to come, as there is some sort of scam, still going on. Exactly how that looks currently is hard to tell, but the current situation, still has all the hallmarks of their first 2 years in charge, when we had agents at the trough and players leaving hand over fist, with new ones brought in to downgrade, rather than improved things.
  21. This is exactly why some people keep are bringing this back to the attention of the fans. Like you, plenty of others, do not know the corruption that has gone on allegedly and may still be going on. Some fans have decided they don’t want to know, but should people like this, still be ruining our club? Over the last week or so, a couple of banners have been brought back out, reminding us about some of these things. One was at the STC last week and another surfaced this week at Ewood. I salute the fans who have done this and in some ways, wonder if it is a response to king rats appearance on Sky again, playing the victim. If there is no right of reply, perhaps the banners give us one.
  22. I don't know of anything since that, to be honest. There are plenty of things that have been uncovered since, but nothing committed to type, like that was. I am also very proud of the fans that got involved in uncovering some things that made things uncomfortable for certain people. Sadly that battle was won, but the war is far from over. As you can imagine, a lot of people put a lot of time into uncovering what went on and still do as just like you, there are still serious miss giving's about the owners in some quarters. It saddens me, when I hear of long standing fans not attending anymore, due to the current owners, despite fully understanding that decision. Plenty more seem to have made the same choice and although at times, it is dressed up as being for other reasons, I personally believe that the owners are the root cause of a lot of that.
  23. It may be nostalgia, as I was only a kid in the seventies, watching Johnny Price, Tony Field and Roger Jones, but they also stick firmly in my memory as Rovers greats, as does Ken Furphy.
  24. it is total madness really and hopefully the penny will eventually drop.
