  1. He would probably switch the game to Hillsborough if it was within the league rules and he made a few more quid that way. This defeat and confirmation of relegation is on him and I say that with confidence a week and a half before the game. A complete tool in every sense of the word.
  2. That tells me loud and clear that it was not due to footballing ability, more to do with finance, one way or another. Hard to say exactly what, but if the manger sees that particular decision as the right one, then no wonder he has only had one win so far.
  3. Me too and I bet he slept better than you and I did, despite his journey home in the rented coach.
  4. That’s exactly why I haven’t been able to listen to a single interview so far. If the squad is fantastic and he is the man for the job, why have we won 1 in 13. The squad is anything but fantastic, he is a nodding dog and he must think the fans are idiots. If he had anything about him, he would look in the mirror and accept this is beyond him and step down. His appointment was yet another pathetic mistake by the club and the no excuses narrative, current being peddled is as insulting as it gets. Our season rests on him winning his first home game, next time we play at Ewood and I for one have no faith in that happening.
  5. If we don’t it isn’t because he is any good. I considered him to be a fraud, but after come impressive away win, thought perhaps he deserves a bit of slack. He is out of his depth and will not make a success of this gig.
  6. Exactly and he needs calling out. It’s a terrible record.
  7. Spot on that. I have always suspected they are hiding something and that's the only rational reason I can think of for them not selling. I too think there is more to the court hearing than meets the eye and hope like hell it brings this shambles to a crashing halt.
  8. Could it be Myles and the commission due to his agent too? If it is, I am going to cry and may do it on TV. This club stinks to the high heaven.
  9. Don't be too surprised, if we are still paying some of the hangers on from the very beginning. The super agent and his genius client of a manager, may well have disappeared many years ago, but their wages could very well be still on the books. I remember some Bolton fans being totally shocked, when the club went into administration and they found out, who was still on the payroll.
  10. One thing I would suggest, is buying a season ticket using your credit card. That way you are covered under the consumer credit act, should something go wrong and you don't get what you paid for.
  11. As I posted yesterday, in response Chaddy's post about what he thinks the summer transfer, spend will be, there is no guarantee that the court hearing is a forgone conclusion. The statements in the accounts for previous years, made by the owners about them funding the club, can simply no longer be made. Waggott stated to my face during a meeting with him in November, that since a precedent had already been set, then the funding was going to be agreed in February when the court hearing take place. As we now all know, it did not take place then, or again in March and I have a suspicious feeling that they are in for a surprise in August too. We are very close to the edge in my view and panic borrowing in the form of expensive bridging finance form the likes of Crossbaron, makes me even more concerned about the future of the club.
  12. Can I genuinely offer you a bit of advice as a fellow support. Please take what Waggott says with a pinch of salt. He told me face to face, that the funds would be coming in February to keep the club afloat and stated that we only had enough to keep us going until February, back in November. That now has to mean that the Wharton and Raya money will be used to fund the clubs day to day costs and not transfers. Any future sales in the summer, are highly unlikely to be used to strengthen, so there is a strong possibility that we go into next season, even weaker. I hate to sound overly pessimistic, but my view on the Indian court decision, is is certainly not a foregone conclusion, which is what Waggott stated about the February hearing and is now doing to again, about August.
  13. We are still in danger of going down, despite becoming harder to beat and that's down to just one win in 12 under Eustace, which let's face it, is poor. If we draw or lose on Wednesday and lose at Leeds (maybe I am being too pessimistic but I see that as a nailed on defeat) then it will be one win in 14 which is abysmal. The jury is still firmly out in my mind, but to be fair, it we do get a win on Wednesday, then I think we will be safe and that's job done. In my view, keeping us up will be a clean slate for me and I hope we can sort our finances out and get some decent signings in, to give him a chance next season.
  14. Can't be accurate as all teams will end up playing 46 won't they?
  15. It could be nerves. I will be happy for all the half time scores to stay as they are, as we edge towards safety.
  16. Cup draw. Generally used in December when the FA cup gets serious. The third round cup draw is a highlight of the season for many, especially the surviving teams, from the lower leagues.
  17. If he is patient enough, it could be less. Buying us out of administration would be cheaper than that. Given how the owners are peddling the narrative to the court of protecting their investment and putting a bond up, to ensure their integrity, the court hearing in August, could be the first step on the road to us being almost worthless. Given the annual statement in the accounts saying we are trading in an insolvent manner, the club is not exactly a gold mine and let’s face it, we are a heartbeat away from being in the third tier.
  18. How much did we get for Raya in the end, excluding the £5m we seem to be due at some point in the not too distant future?
  19. Send to Waggott, not that it will make any difference.
  20. The Sheff Weds game has now become a must not lose rather than must win now, so I don't think you will be lynched. By the time the game comes around, we may be all but safe, as I think 3 or 4 points from the 3 games before that, will mean it is all over bar the shouting, for us at least.
  21. I said at half time, it was a huge half coming up, both in terms of the season and the future of the club. A relegation this season, would take some serious recovering from, but hopefully yesterdays result, has eased those fears now. The two key players for me yesterday, were Szmodics and Dolan. I also thought JRC was superb and his assist for the second was excellent. I watched it on Rovers TV from Spain, as I have all bar 3 of the league games this year, although instead of the TV nearly being launched, yesterday it was decked in Blue and white ribbons post match. The monkey is now off the Managers back, so hopefully, we can pick up some points in the next 2 and the shredded nerves, can take a break for the last count le of games.
  22. Dreamland this and one every single fan deserves. Does this feel good at last.
  23. It’s a very big half coming up now, not only in our season, but in our history. A win today pumps belief back into everyone and maybe gives the manager the boost he needs. Come on Rovers, let’s do it and give us the belief we need.
