  1. I suspect it has cost them to keep on making these appeals, so as you correctly say, why would they keep going back to court, paying the relevant fees and their lawyers, when there is no problem. Of course there is a problem, but they want certain people, including the fans, to accept that there isn't. I wonder why?
  2. A clear and concise statement is required from the club, instead of the one that is current subject to interpretation. Something along the lines of: After todays court appeal, it has now been agreed that the bond required is 50% of the amount used to fund the club. The owners intend to fund £20m and are therefore prepared to out a £10m bond up to do so. This means the club can meet it's financial obligations and also have an amount to help ensure we have a squad, capable of challenging at the right end of the league. Does that not seem far better than "There is no legal impediment in the owners funding the club?
  3. It was always very cleverly worded by Waggott and as usual just a smokescreen, to yet again, hoodwink the fans into believe that everything is okay and the wonderful owners we have, will continue to fund us. Some, of the fans, accepted the no impediment line, but some knew better and saw that there was one huge impediment and here we have it today, confirmed in court that we were yet again, lied to.
  4. Just a thought and it dies have a cryptic message this. What about the 4,000 hole fanzine having a sub name. 4,000 Holes coming to you from a stand for Tony.
  5. So this £20m investment per season, is looking very much like a myth, unless people from the early days, are still getting a cut.
  6. The problem is it’s the fans that missed out. Only seeing one of our own and a generational talent playing for the team he supports, for a very short time. Not only that, the lad didn’t want the move and had the courtesy to sign a contract, to ensure that the club got at least a half decent fee.
  7. Just looking through the booklet that was anonymously printed back in 2016. Nothing changes.
  8. Funny you should mention plants, when referring to this post.
  9. When they say they never fail to sign a cheque, perhaps the meant a player form the Czech Republic, as they are failing to sign plenty of the paper variety, at the minute, in my opinion.
  10. I can’t think of any other reason, personally
  11. This is the thing, it always comes back to. Why did they buy a club, deliberately sell all the players and replace the manager and almost surrender the golden goose of the premier league? The narrative once, was that they were badly advised, but even that one has run its course. We are now told, they will not listen to offers, yet the can’t afford to find it, so yet again everyone is left scratching their heads in disbelief. Someone somewhere, must have a reason, so maybe the crew badly advising them, are still doing so and lining their pockets at the owner’s expense.
  12. They need to make a statement and quick, as this is growing arms and legs.
  13. I have posted on here that there is one huge impediment to the funding, so thanks for the quote. There have been no funds sent since and I expect none in the future, unless this impediment is lifted.
  14. One think to mention on the Wolves position. Sounds like they didn’t want promotion, due to the cost that would bring. Fancy a club not wanting promotion, which surely is fairy tale territory.
  15. In a lot of ways, posters suggesting that we should not get upset about this situation, with the ladies team, is similar to the cry to just get behind the lads. Ignore what the owners and management at Ewood do and just turn up for the games and sing your heart out. Unless we carry on letting these leaches know, they don’t get away with treating the club in general, they way we do, they will find a way of making this fatal.
  16. Me too. I would rather have him than Mose him, Thats for sure and will be sorry to see him leave
  17. How many times have we heard the line trotted out, that the owners never fail to sign a cheque? That can’t be true, if they are given a budget to work to and have to decide, how it is spent. I have no great love for the women’s team and wouldn’t follow it myself, but given it is not affected by FFP and the narrative that they never fail to sign a cheque, this now stinks.
  18. It depends I suppose, as recently has no set time. I recently celebrated my 60th birthday and that was also in March.
  19. He was scouted at the home game V Norwich.
  20. Neither was Danny, the ex Watford player
  21. Is that the player or the name for Gestede?
  22. Yeah, they lad who was watching him, is a former Sheffield United centre half and does rate him. He knew he was recently back from injury since not fully up to speed.
