I'm not entirely convinced that Blackburn is a tourist destination. The hotel at Old Trafford (cricket) is excellent. I'm sure it sells out non-cricket season as it's a ten minute walk from the theatre of shite. Rooms overlooking the pitch might encourage our far flung friends to stay on match days. I can't see it happening any time soon though.

I agree we were not in danger of losing, but to be 5-1 up against one of the World's newest teams, I think to concede two in ten after the break makes me very worried. It is a pattern, get your defence sorted!!!

Don't get me wrong, I loved watching him, pace.....it's captivating, but I just feel Matt would have gone on to great things.

Bellamy was a problem, that's why he didn't stick with clubs, Matt's potential was off the scale. We, of course, never got to find out.

He was about to take off. Bentley was great for us, but got greedy and burned out. Matt could have been the sober Gascoigne.

Crying shame what happened to him. Sven has a lot to answer for. Who knows where his career would have gone to if he'd kept his promise. He certainly would't have been in Rome. Amazing how one decision proved life changing. I thought he had everything, special talent.

I fully understand supporters who support regardless, I fully understand that folk have a free choice. How many of the current ST holders are pre-Loons? How many are kids, and go because it's a day out with mum and dad? How many are teens who just go for the beer? Fact......the Loons tenure has been an unmitigated disaster and the attendances reflect that. As others have said, business around Ewood has suffered, the town has suffered, most importantly we have suffered. How can that be glossed over?

I'm usually a pint glass full preferably (until empty), the Manchester weather is still an issue, and the pitch can't be that bad if Paine can get a half century. Straws.....clutching!
