So much further to fall yet, if we cling on to 6th to then get pumped in the play off semi it'll be a miracle. Its been lovely dreaming but this squad, manager and ultimately owners are nowhere near, or deserve to be near, Premier League standard.

Can we cling on for 6th? Possibly. Is there any point? Yes, but I wouldn't back a Mowbray team to win games when it really counts. Wonderful to be competing at the right end of the table but sadly when the transfer windows comes along and you need strengthening in certain areas we simply don't have the correct owners and management team in place to see it over the line.

Start of the season I'm 100% with you, to suggest that now is absolute madness though. For all Mowbrays faults, including the fact he's stumbled across this winning formula more by luck than judgement, you have to think that he's the best man to get us over the line, surely?

Fair play for keeping throwing out predictions that are wrong every single time, I don't have that type of brain that allows me to be like that.

I enjoyed that this was in italics, made it feel like it was important 🧐 Watched them against QPR the other week, no great shakes albeit in an away game against a team on fire. Losing to Luton clearly shows we should be going there to win of we have aspirations of a top two finish.

On the face of it a disappointing end to the window but overall a successful one for me. Kept all of our players and bought in some decent competition for places. Bournemouth went mad as they can afford it and we clearly struggle to get players in with our wage structure and the dynamic Mr Waggott involved in negotiations. If Venkys weren't going to break our wage structure now; they never will. I think we're a little short for the top two but if we get Diaz back from South America, not Brereton, then we'll definitely make plays off. And who the fuck would've thought that at the start of the season! Going to try and enjoy the last 17 games as much as possible as who knows when we'll be in this position again.

Completely ignoring the fact that they have had a far better squad than us all season and are still behind us.

Agreed. Hopefully this hasn't messed with his head and he continues to play as well as he has been. Ultimately that's probably what Bournemouth are thinking, even if they don't get him they put off one of our best performers

Extremely short term thinking by Rothwell here, if true of course. Perhaps it's his agent and his missus in his ear, or maybe he is fed up with not getting a pay rise. If he does go it would be tremendous to see us go up and him remain in the Championship with those clowns.
