  1. !00% agree but the truth will never come out as to what went wrong.
  2. It's obvious imo & probably among most that Obafemi doesn't want to come. He's had a sniff at premier football and doesn't want to let go hoping there's still a chance he can make it. Quality footballer he may be but no point us having an unhappy player who can't make a decision on his future.
  3. WBA were allowed three times yesterday to dry the ball for long throws using clothing thrown from their fans. Yet the ref prevented our kit man, also against WBA (but irrelevant), to pass a towel our keeper. Think the EFL should look into this. It they are to dry the ball use a towel provided by the club. Nothing should be thrown in from the crowd.
  4. Didn't mention ambitions! Don't misunderstand me up Mercer, I've been there home and away for decades and can see the bigger picture. The season has started so I'm right behind the team regardless of who the manager is. Like I said Mowbray should have been potted a long time ago and with a new manager in post we could have been looking towards the top end of the division. But lets see it as it is, Mowbray's been given the green light to stay and have another go this season having failed in previous seasons - understatement. We've lost a top goal scorer along with other senior players to start a season with 20 players, plus two long-term injuries, who aren't all Championship ready and will add a further 6 untested players. I'm being realistic when I say we can avoid relegation this season.
  5. Cracking response Gav. Apart from another West Brom error we were never going to score. I'd have got rid of Mowbray ages ago but too late now, we go with what we have and get behind the team. Thought we did that today even though behind for over 89 minutes of normal time. Clarkson looks good, Carter is learning, Kaminski is outstanding and kept us in the game. Both Lenihan & Ayala do gel and the longer they play together the better they'll be. Fact everyone knows is squad is too small but get the right additions and we can stay in this division.
  6. Ayala & Lenihan won that game for us both in goals and defending. Diaz quiet but pleased that Chapman played a part and should be part of the team on Saturday. No more Dolan as Centre Forward Mowbray, how many times do you need telling. Great support from Rovers fans. 7 points from 9 is a very good start to season........joint top!
  7. Travis must "play the game". If injured when winning go down for treatment. That goal could have been prevented.
  8. Yeah. Doing ok. Tends to come out with a long ball looking for for a tall forward but Dolan no threat.
  9. What a joke Radio Lancs is saying 11 is the latest score when reading out today's results. Good point despite lack of shots. Hope Rothwell is ok
  10. Could be some truth in your thoughts. It was only an hour earlier that TM was quoted it would be sorted in next few days. Either way I'm not too bothered. We need a goal scorer but Obafemi is cut price being pushed on us as part of, albeit indirectly, the Armstrong deal.
  11. It's a disgrace and Mowbray should know it. Take my word, this will happen again often this season. Time will come when the fans at ewood have had enough. Hard season ahead.
  12. Not seen it previous but ST choose your own seat now shows % available in each section plus seat numbers.
  13. Outstanding by Rovers players and fans down at Ewood today. MOM for me was Kaminsky with a cool first half stop preventing Swansea on probably their first attach. Playing from the back like they did must have been talked about at half time and Donlan took advantage. Enjoyed being back seeing familiar faces and being part of the Blackburn End version of Sweet Caroline.
