  1. Its just feeding bullshit to the mushrooms
  2. And just so Bennett knows I finally cast my vote - for Lenihan.
  3. Two days ago Lenihan's injury was a mystery that needed further 'investigations', today he's back in training. I hope he's back on Saturday and whatever the 'injury' was it's now at least patched up.
  4. Good point. That was a row that had been simmering away for quite a while. An odd situation for Charlie who now it would seem has more of an International future than a League one. He will never, IMO, appear again in a Rovers shirt whilst Mowbray rules the roost. I'm not saying he should either as no question his legs have gone but I don't like the way that is used by some as a justification for the way his departure has been handled by Mowbray. Personally, I think he went to allow Cunningham in, 1 for 1, but also sure Wigan got a good deal.
  5. Totally agree. A free hit for Wigan of a panic by Rovers.
  6. We will not hear the story from Charlie's point of view, not while we guarantee his wages. Maybe in a book someday. Meanwhile, we have Mowbray to rely on for openness and honesty. No mention of why it was done so fecking late in the day, without CB cover, etc, etc, etc but typical Mowbray pointing to the player as being a willing participant when he cannot respond. If indeed it went as Mowbray says then he should be binned for letting it drag on so long and not getting an experienced replacement in - surely all those long conversations between Mowbray and Charlie did not take place on just a Thursday and Friday at Windows end. The shit some will believe like the above, like we made 3 or 4 credible bids for CBs late in the window, like we made anything but a derisory bid for Reed on Deadline Day, the list of untruths goes on and on and on and its lapped up. NOT by me
  7. Runner No. 4, looking bottom to top, won this egg and spoon race but the big kids from Oldham nicked the prize.
  8. He dived or his feet are too big and he just fell over as he is so clumsy. He knew he had made a useless first touch and was not going to win the foot race. I think if Brereton had appealed for a foul then the Ref would have done him for diving. How did he miss that earlier cross? I know its bad when I feel sorry for the player. He's also not lucky in front of goal, if he could just fluke one it may help him get going. Having said that and whilst I blame Mowbray for any lack of development I have to say Brereton looks an awful prospect.
  9. Big Ben is the Clock. London buses as additional evidence. The Clock is still in London. Madames confusion came about when she heard they couldn't get a tune out of Big Ben until sometime in the 2020s as its a repair project.
  10. My guess is Evans, Buckley, Smallwood, Downing, Nyambe but TBH not sure If I'm correct Smallwood cannot sprit, Buckley gave up early doors and Evans surprised me with pace. Downing outpaced Nyambe comfortably. This might encourage someone with a clearer picture to give the correct starting order. If you scroll down on this Twitter link you see the goals individually https://twitter.com/brfcsdotcom
  11. It is a professional sport and if fans want to have a pop at Mowbray then crack on too. He's open and honest so can handle criticism and doesn't do social media anyway, or so he claims. The real point here is that the public calling out of any player does no one any good. Mowbray does it is such a way it looks to me like he's covering his own arse. NIL respect for that.
  12. Dack scored 1 and had 2 assists. His goal, our first, changed the momentum of the game and he gifted the winner to Rothwell. I would say that changed the game pretty much single-handedly. Great shot by Downing though
  13. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/17834950.manchester-city-loanee-injury-doubt-rovers/ Lenihan and Tosin still a doubt. I do not think Lenihan will be ''selected'' But have no fear ............. Mowbray: “Bennett has a knock. He’s been walking around with ice on but he is a warrior and could have half his leg hanging off and he would still be wanting to play.'' If that wasn't enough here's a Mowbray tactical masterclass https://www.lancs.live/sport/football/football-news/blackburn-rovers-boss-danny-graham-16750618
  14. A Mowbray/ Mulgrew confrontation in full view of others at training last Thursday morning, things moved quickly after that and Lenihan's ''injury'' surfaced. It's in a thread somewhere.
  15. Extended highlights, thanks to OAFC https://www.oldhamathletic.co.uk/news/2019/august/14082019-blackburn-a-extended-highlights/
  16. Good post and I had not seen Browns comments before. "But listen, I had Tony Mowbray as a manager – that was a crisis. We’re playing well now but back then we weren’t playing any football whatsoever and the crowds were down to 15,000-20,000." Deja Vue
  17. Rothwell has skill and flair and those attributes often come with an attitude, which I favour. Mowbray is, despite his skillfully worked on facade, weak and a bully so the Rothwells of the world will provoke him. He prefers lapdogs like his new Captain. He will never call out those who toe the line and Bell and Brereton fall into that group. His treatment of Nyambe is shameful. The lad comes back from a decent ACN and Mowbray sets out to mess his head. Why would he do that? I hope the truth of Mulgrews departure comes out, I favour @glen9mullan recent post on the matter as being the most accurate I have seen. He is not going anywhere and I just wish he would feck off. This is not a recent decision of mine, I have never rated him or trusted his open and honest crap. Paul Senior got him the gig and then disappeared straight after relegation whilst Mowbray took over full control including transfers. Why would our DoF do that? Et tu, Brute
  18. The Lenihan one is easy, see Captain Bennett The Mulgrew one, see Captain Bennett
  19. We just have to be with the players at our disposal at a time when Mowbray is carrying out major experimentation with the 'defence' Stick with what works. I think this may be DGs final season as a starter so Mowbray's mental investment in BB and Gallagher will be fully exposed soon enough, if not already.
  20. TM on Platt and Grayson: ''These young players sometimes need to go away on loan and learn'' For once I agree with Mowbray as they will learn nothing from him at Ewood/Brockhall I also do not like him basically insulting the opposition post-game (see the ''My mentality'' Mowbray quote), a bit like when he belittled winning L1, after Wigan had clinched it.
  21. Mowbray post Oldham: ''I don’t want to be the team we have been for the last two years and just hit long balls to Danny Graham '' Mowbray post Oldham: ''My mentality is that if you are not good enough to play against Oldham Athletic at home then you are not good enough to be in the building'' That should see the end of Smallwood then.
  22. Boro lost at home to Crewe tonight so they must be flat. I hope TM is up for taking on all his Boro Pals
  23. Just RB and more of his 2 year old anti DG campaign
  24. I never had a single doubt
  25. 6 mins extra time
