I think we will win. There Ive said it.

I'm listening to a radio link via FB, we have missed clear chances? Brereton and Evans?
-
Rustling rugs, not a good sign

I am going to watch the Sky Lovefest match and hope for Rovers updates. Looks like Davey Boy is the only 92er missing. I may be sick.
-
I hope they are worth the wait! Enjoy Ewood
-
I suppose Smallwood has to get some game time, he is getting a wage. Apart from the Smallwood/Evans part it's an interesting mix. I really hope BB can bag a few.
-
I remember that, it wasn't very nice at all. I doubt Ryan is part of the 'In" crowd or does the Manchester watering holes with the 'group'

The EFL Cup is organised by the EFL yet not available on the EFL iFollow platform. Odd at first sight. I wonder if its because PL Clubs also participate in (and win) this 'competition' and the PL run Football in the UK and not the EFL minnows.
-
It shows as being on iFollow in the match schedule but when I try to buy a matchday pass it's not available with next availability being Boro.. Maybe available on the annual subscription?

Yes indeed, Nyambe was fit when he came back from the ACN so only needed a light pre-season to top up

Mods: I am sick and tired of posting a quote which has a space above it of varying size and which always results in a post which cannot be edited.

Another of Mowbray's player reinventions based to quite an extent on Mowbray watching Namibia on the Telly and being guided by their coach. I hope he takes into account the level of opposition faced in that failed campaign. Nevermind it frees up RB for his Pal. Brereton and Gallagher will not deliver this season. Brereton will face a lot of appearances as a Sub out of his natural position and Gallagher whilst being a willing workhorse is not a natural goalscoring striker at Championship level. With an aging DG and an erratic Dack, I expect us to be way down the goal scoring charts at the end of this season. Ironically I expect midfield to contribute through Johnson.

Bennett is Team and Club Captain for the foreseeable. Charlie M. will never wear our colours again. We will never know what happened on that Thursday morning but I know what I think. All IMO and I think I am right. Some posters are so desperate to protect the Mowbray/Waggott grip on the Club that they constantly deny reality and what is staring them in the face. I hope being Captain helps raise Bennett's game because at present and for some time he has been a liability, especially at RB. Why Mowbray appears hell-bent on destroying Nyambes career is something only Mowbray can answer. As things stand Ryan needs to get himself far away from Rovers. Just so there's no doubt as to my opinion and based solely on his football form I would have Bennet nowhere near a matchday squad unless we are decimated by injuries.
-
Mowbray does not care about what any majority may want. He really believes its HIS Team, HIS Club. I know he has put the squad together and picks the team but with Mowbray, it goes beyond that. Delusional is being kind. I read about his end at Celtic who had the good sense to see through his facade into his madness. I get what you say about Bennett but, IMO, he's just a puppy lapdog for his master.

Great post lifted from FB: 'Mowbray is like that Sunday league manager who picks his son and makes him captain no matter how shit he is''
-
Totally agree and I would never boo any player in Rovers colours. I would simply not applaud or cheer.
-
We had so many potential Captains then
-
Bob Crompton, Ronnie Clayton, and Colin Hendry to name just 3 great players but from different eras who captained both Rovers and their Country. Now we have Elliott Bennett whose main claim to fame is being Mowbray's Pal in the dressing room. It is beyond sadness how far we have fallen.
-
Nyambe and his Agent must know this and be sorry the Window is closed. Still Ryan, not long to January. I suspect losing the Captaincy was told to Mulgrew on Thursday last and perhaps provoked a response similar to what I would have given. Strange how the cards fell so fortuitously to get Bennett in the team as Captain v Fulham. Naturally, I do not suspect anything but fate at play. If Bennett has a bad game as Captain he is going to be mullered on social media, I wonder if he will maintain a presence. This is just another nail in Mowbray's coffin. Bring it on.
-
If he did that it would disqualify his besty Pal. Bennett as Captain is the only way Mowbray can keep Bennett in HIS team.
