https://www.efl.com/-more/all-about-the-efl/efl-board/ Just look at this set-up and remember that Jevans is where she has landed because 2 blokes bailed out and left her holding the baby. Those 2 need a thorough investigation but who can police the police?

Sheffield united away- League cup

How depressing and confidence sapping it must be to play as a defender in front of Leutwiler. Truly a pathetic keeper who should never have been recruited in the first instance. Playing him is the same as gifting the opposition a goal or 3 and throwing the game. If just messing about instead of wanting to win the game then put Smallwood between the sticks, at least he would try and not be a liability outfield. A wage stealer who in someone's madness was given a contract extension. -

Mowbray got sent off for lecturing a BallBoy about lifestyle choices. This is true, believe it or not. -
At least its now quite easy to re-watch or get the highlights. TTFFT

I was in Leeds on holiday in 1981 and was going to go to the Cricket on what turned out to be 'Willis Day' but the wife (now ex) would not let me. I was watching yesterday but with a bad back went for a lie-down. This was when Bairstow had just come in to bat. I woke up hours later to see Broad being interviewed and my immediate thought was we've lost already! I do not restrict this to Cricket. In 2005 I went to bed at half time during a Football Match. I'm going back to bed. Its 9.45 am here.

We have played Cardiff 8 times since Division Two was conned into being called The Championship. We have never beaten Cardiff in the Championship, 4 defeats and 4 draws. All the draws were 1-1 with 3 of them at home. Cardiff also tonked us 1-4 at Ewood. We are overdue a win but a draw more than likely at 1-1 There are 3 certainties. Cunningham will not play, Bennett will and Graham is the only really effective main striker at Ewood Park.

1 run every 4 balls, proper Test cricket ? and he scored as many as root, Stokes and Bairstow combined
-
Get to the Seaside on Bank Holiday Monday, there will be no Test match to watch.

A vivid description of a good old Pub. All you missed was the miserable looking sod drinking Coke from a can and worrying about what time the Asteroid hits.

Very true, their keeper was soft and rooted to his line. Williams had some leap and great header, I remember thinking what a Kodak moment that was, Williams with a header on target and scoring.
-
Ok I saw it on FB earlier today. I said the same .... apart from 'Derrick' lol
-
Anyone hear Sky apologise for some bad language, 'FO Derrick' IIRC. Made me laugh.

I found myself wishing Danny would visit his barber (hairstylist) as he spent his time onfield flicking his hair out of his eyes. He didn't have much by the way of service or support though.

Just had another look at the iFollow extended highlights. A lot of pushing, as usual, going on as a freekick is about to be taken. It's Armstrong's late backing into the keeper, left arm across the keeper and then he 'rolls' him that swing it to a foul for me. Having said that Armstrong did damn well in taking on the much bigger lad. Maybe a deliberate ploy to put our smallest player against the keeper, clever.
-
Stewart Downing v Hull 1 assist 6 chances created * 25 successful passes in opposition half * 10 crosses * 71 touches (* most in match) and he can still run a bit!
-
Armstrong blatantly fouled their keeper by backing into him with force and putting him off balance. VAR would have spotted it. If we had conceded in a similar fashion we would all have been in riot mode.
-
Bennett is a poor RB, Williams is a poor LB but a more than decent CB Bennett is not my ''current'' punchbag/scapegoat, I've always thought him a below-average Championship player. Nothing new. Take away his undoubted effort and there's not much else. Now we have a proper LB in Cunningham, well at least for this season, maybe it will encourage Mowbray to get a decent RB too. Bennett isn't that and Nyambe seems ruined by his 'development' at Rovers.
-
And fit as a Butchers Dog. Kept up with play and sprinting until the end. He dunn good.
-
Great result! Williams my MoM, never ever thought I'd say that but fair do he's a decent CB. Lots of Rovers played well tonight.
-
Armstrong, now there is a waste of space. A small space mind.
-
so are Hull TBF. Enjoying the game and pleased we are not trying tippy tappy. Dack the best footballer on the pitch. Bennett is well remarkable. Nuff said
-
A draw, 1-1 ours by Dack Delighted we are in our Halves/Quarters! COYB

You have been wrong about Graham over the previous 2 Seasons and you will be again this Season. Yes, he's getting on a bit but now at the stage of his career where he makes his experience pay dividends. He cant play every game and Mowbrays intention seems to be to go to a more passing game. We will see how that pans out but meanwhile, in the real world, we will need Danny this Season. I too hope that Brereton, Armstrong and Gallagher or even one of them step up as consistents corers this Season but meanwhile when in a deep hole stop digging.
