other Blackburn Rovers Documentary / Help Needed!

A redo of Jack the Ripper without the gory murders. -
Targets, be they the next 6, 10, 12 or whatever games are just part of the greater Flex now in the Rovers DNA. Its a moving picture comprehended only by master tacticians, which counts me out. Unlike our manager I do not operate in a time warp: “We need to see where we are after 12 games, because the opponents we’ve played after our first six games are all, probably bar a couple, top-half or top-six candidates." I am rewatching the original Twin Peaks if that helps......

Cunningham was outmuscled and then outpaced. He should have put the ball in Row Z when he had the chance and failing that dropped the WBA player. I do think that he was mildly fouled though. But my abiding memory of that SNAFU is, after being split in two, Lenihan and Williams walking back looking at Cunningham's plight.

You actually understood what he was saying and his Maths. Respect

Good one. 42 years ago

I see Nyambe has pulled out of Namibia's upcoming games to focus on his Rovers career.
-
The Party line is that the goals were down to individual errors, as Mowbray says: 'They were more individual errors than a case of the team's shape or organisation'. Hell, this time he even names and shames some Seniors. It's not the fault of Mowbray or any coaches and never is. Nothing is ever Mowbray's fault, he's made a career out of the blame game. I thought this had peaked at Coventry where his total FU led to him walking, naturally citing his honesty and integrity, but apparently not. Get with the Programme people.

It is, just a couple of tweaks to the colours would please me.
-
I'm not sure about the blue and white. Saffron and pink maybe.

Producing for BRFCS.COM a very good logo with just 3 colours. The Rovers badge has 6. @Claytons Left Boot is the way to go. Rovers badge history: https://thefootballcrestindex.com/blogs/premier-league-clubs/blackburn-rovers-fc I think some dates are wrong in that link and I don't know the bottom right badge at all.

Greatest player for a Lancashire club.

It does look quite a bit like the FA Cup trophy that was played for between 1895, the original having been stolen whilst held by Aston Villa, and 1911 - but can't see any handles! This trophy was replaced by the Football Association (FA) after 1909 winners Manchester United made a replica and the FA realised it did not own the copyright. Good to see the FA have not changed much over the years. Thanks to David Gold it is now on permanent display at the National Football Museum. Its replacement was used from 1911 until 1991. -
Spot on. Mowbray is sending in the 'shorter' players to impede the keeper hoping to get away with it sometimes, which we clearly did at Hull. If Graham or Gallagher were doing it we would have no discussion.

Championship season 2019-20
AllRoverAsia replied to arbitro's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
I hadn't spotted that before but maybe fairer to say he was 'involved' in the relegation of 2 Clubs in the same season. Now, how many managers have that on their CV? -
I've rewatched a few times on the iFollow highlights and the Ref was absolutely correct to disallow as the keeper was clearly impeded. The freekick he awarded for a 'foul' on Walton was dodgy and covered up the keeper's fumble. It was one game that it was good that we wore those awful socks.

''In order to receive the prize, the winner will be required to attend the match at Ewood Park on 28 September 2019.'' No days off for illness or accident. Not that any live, random draw is going to happen
-
Mind-blowing considering we are only 6 games into the season. I have never before seen such a hotchpotch approach to trying to build a team as that Mowbray uses. And people wonder why the likes of Dack run around looking lost at times.
-
I've only seen the short Sky highlights so far but hadn't realised what a free hit our first goal was until seeing it. Defenders brushed off the ball far too easily for 2 of the WBA goals. Cunningham for the first and someone out our right-hand side for their 3rd. Video a bit blurry. No team can conceed 3 in such a fashion and expect a point nevermind all 3. The Tombola keeps on turning

Championship season 2019-20

Leeds, bless them, got well and truly mugged today. Bloody delightful. -
I always think it's been an OK day if Leeds lose. Doesn't make up for us losing but it helps ease the pain a bit.
-
Stats are weird. Our possession has gone from 39% to 50%

SSN fault Cunningham?
-
Fantastic dummy by Chapman on the BHA player in the build-up to our first goal, sent him into next week! Was it Chapman with an assist in Samuels first goal? A selection of good goals by Rovers, I liked Barnes CB scoring header. Now that is how to run a Club TV channel. All first team and U23 match highlights, manager and player interviews available to all for free and in good quality. That can only encourage subscription for live match paid content.

https://www.brightonandhovealbion.com/my-albion-tv/videos It's in the ''MyAlbion TV'' section The red card had a major impact on that game

This thread was started TWO YEARS ago by an excellent post, quoted above, by @blueboy3333 and we are still having the same conversations. The only thing that's changed is that in the period Mowbray, after a long and hard courtship as admitted by Mowbray, signed Chapman on a permanent deal. And now I see some of the Rovers faithful laying all blame for any apparent lack of development solely on the player using unfounded allegations. Give your heads a wobble and get real.
