  1. Bauer also sees Rovers after him in 2 previous Windows but not willing to pay a Penny in a Fee to get him sooner than when he becomes free. Then its been rumoured telling him he was not coming in as even a starting (as opposed to guaranteed) CB. When PNE came in for him with their vibrant young manager no wonder Bauer jumped at the chance over a dithering Rovers. I would have too! Meanwhile, we've signed 2 strikers for millions who will struggle to get 20 goals between them in a full season. IMO. Madness is being kind.
  2. Fulham will score. The questions are how many and can we. As someone we know might say ''Mitrovic will ask questions''
  3. I think the same, but how can BB progress? too much to write off but I suppose a lot of late sub appearances will make 'development' stats look ok.
  4. Over the past 2 Summer windows, our main purchases are 2 strikers who currently could be considered bang average at best. Hell, Waggot now claims Gallagher was our No 1 target in this window!! Meanwhile, central defence continues to be ignored apart from a City loan who will be gone in January if things do not work out to City's wishes. I really think Mowbray has lost the plot if he ever had one. If we get mid-table mediocrity this year I will be pleased and surprised. It pisses me off that Mowbray and his cronies are now running the Ewood Circus, but its a position of power he has craved a long time. He just had to wait to find the right fecked up Club at the right time for him, and Paul Senior duly obliged before becoming Keaned.
  5. Waggott on Gallagher: “But he was always No.1 target for Tony" That, in a nutshell, sums up the imbeciles running Rovers.
  6. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/rovers/news/17817658.next-jack-rodwell-leaving-rovers/ Is Sharpe running with this on behalf of his real employers to prepare the way for an ''oh what a surprise'' return of the prodigal waste of space? Time will tell
  7. The main difference this time is the amount of control Mowbray has over the general situation. The Scottish Turd was just a minion of others shytes.
  8. Mowbray made damn sure he was the Godfather when he orchestrated the departure of Paul Senior, the man who had sourced him, and appointed Waggott as his CEO and Venus as his chief scout. It dismays me that so many fans buy so readily into the nice guy nonsense but if something is said enough times it becomes true and I have to say Mowbray's own self-promotion and that of his lackeys at the LT is top draw. He is going nowhere anytime soon,
  9. Waggott: ''if anything pops up where we feel we could be interested we will look” Good to see Mowbray and Venus hard at it but fear not "Defenders are Coming" Meanwhile, the LT has been telling Rovers fans how to use Social Media. I am assuming Sharpe is actually a Rovers employee.
  10. Good point but Bennett would simply move position. Another porker in the team photo though.
  11. I saw a fake Facebook link, well done though, to Paul Caddis coming back. Had me going for a minute.
  12. Coyle had us 100% on the road to relegation and Mowbray could not save us. Take away Mowbrays new manager bounce results, Villa throwing a match and Brentford being on holiday there were simply too many draws in other games.
  13. Yes, Downing had a much easier chance. He could have scored with either foot.
  14. No excuse at all. He should have at least made decent contact. It may well have got off target but his effort was technically pathetic.
  15. Spineless, they have not even tried
  16. Gary Monk and the Vs. God forbid that ever happens.
  17. The management set up is incestuous, reflected in our transfer dealings. If they were any use it wouldn't be so bad.
  18. Maher has been used as a red herring since the beginning of the window. He was always staying with van der Brom.
  19. England have more chance of hitting their target tomorrow than we have of getting to the PL whilst owned by Vs and managed by Mowbray
  20. Maguire and Rashford amongst the bench but off duty
  21. And we almost beat them! England 1970 were a bloody good team.
  22. True, it was a team effort.
  23. Spot on. Also, have a look at Travis's involvement. When Bennett made that 'pass' and Charlton broke Travis stopped running for a second or 2 and then gave pursuit but too late. Waggot wants money in so Rovers should make a video of that move from Bennett's 'pass' until Charlton's goal and sell it to other Clubs entitled 'How not to defend a breakaway attack'. Almost funny how Bennett ended up alongside Bell having achieved nothing of any use.
  24. This is especially for @Mike E Bob Crompton looking down his nose at the Spurs captain at WHL, 9th February 1911, FA Cup replay, second round I think, Rovers won away 0-2
