  1. I appreciate the delicacies of Indian rices but must say that chips with many Indian dishes is a joy. Problem out here is they can't cook a decent chip.
  2. The app has been good in that a free pass account sometimes used for a matchpass does give free access to all our games extended highlights. Most other vids are locked. I'll investigate the website more on my phone.
  3. I thought I had but will try again next game. It was a while ago and failed perhaps not understanding it properly so used the app. I have always booked the matchpass via the website. Thanks.
  4. After Charlie had that brain fade Rodwell was very weak in his non challenge and just as culpable in conceeding that goal. Both were pathetic.
  5. I saw posts earlier saying that you can watch iFollow matches via a website. I can't ! Is this the case on a PC or Laptop as on my phone I can't and have to use the App. I watched today through muddy waters but saw a lot of shit. One thing was proved, we do play better without Williams. I am going through severe apathy so may appear less than pissed off. It's a charade.
  6. Google rescue again! Been married to a few of those in my time.
  7. Nothing in any of your posts is offensive. Indeed I thought the crap that @steelcityblue refers to was a comment on Mowbray's pressers post Switzerland.
  8. I had to look that up on Google. I'm pretty sure I'm one of them, aged 66 I find out I'm something I never knew I was. Can't help thinking that a lot of uk based folk need to travel more and I mean outside of the UK and Europe. Get some exposure to real bias, bigotry and racism. Asia is a good place for a tame start.
  9. Just got up to date with the Podcasts. A good listen. Thanks. Also listened to the Bill Arthur/ Caldwell p1 & 2 pods, different and most interesting. Thanks again.
  10. I too have a soft spot for Accy ever since the 60's and seeing photos of their then derelict ground. Plus we got the gem Mike Ferguson from them in the days when being a Dingle was ok.
  11. Which is exactly what Mowbray was on about getting at Rovers months ago, maybe as long as a year. Since then he has said the system was financed and had player vid on call plus complete up to the minute stats on every player being looked at. I thought it was operative hence the Lithuanian lad and the lad from Gibraltar. I recall Mowbray waxing lyrical on how under the IT based scouting system they could look around the globe, sift through players and refer only prime to the recruitment section. Now it sounds like Rovers have just discovered the New World called Europe.
  12. Downing will not start for Boro due to contractual issues. Not sure but I think he will be on the bench.
  13. Earlier today I was listening to a Football Daily podcast about Eric Harrison, the ex Manchester Utd coach who has just passed on age 81. He was quoted as saying that within a couple of weeks of Ferguson being named manager Ferguson called him to one side to say he was unimpressed by the youth setup. Harrison's reply was to look across at City, they have many more scouts than Utd!! Result was that within a couple of weeks more the Utd scouting network was 3 x that of City, one outcome being the group of '92 I digress sorry Vinjay.
  14. Something odd has occurred for sure. On my and also on the wifes phone neither Chrome nor the phones android browser will open the LT site.
  15. For a few weeks now my mobile chrome browser will not open the LT website, no idea why it used to be just the Daily Mail that was a problem. The bonus is that I do not have to read this sort of crap from Mowbray. We have allowed Preston to catch up with us due to our failings and now he's conceeding whilst Preston are up for a further push. What sort of message is he trying to send to the players nevermind the fans. I am a patient man but he is starting to get to me.
  16. What's my shoe size got to do with our defence being crap?
  17. Despite being labelled by another as a 'negative' I stated yesterday I was ok to give Mowbray 4 more windows, not just Summers, to get us to serious promotion contention. Next year may be a bit too early.
  18. I can't see Venkys forking out for the likes of Hughes or his support staff, or indeed similar. Mowbray accepted the job which had the condition he worked with the existing backroom, hence we still have Lowe and no proper goalkeeping coach. Venkys do it on the cheap.
  19. You would have lost that bet. I consider myself a realistic poster as opposed to one living in cloud cookoo land. I was disappointed that he gave up on winning the L1 title and belittled it when it became obvious Wigan would finish top.
  20. For coming 2nd in L2? It is bad enough he's swung a contract until June 2022. Stick to Football Manager or whatever it's called and enjoy the slow build to nowhere.
  21. ÏMowbray is not going anywhere. He is contracted until June 2022, his mate Waggott is his 'boss' in name at Ewood and Venkys like how he deflects attention away from them. His stated aim is family security and putting his kid(s) through Uni, his plan will be to finance that via Rovers not the Dole queue. Be prepared for years of mediocrity, there is no way he can build an auto PL promotion capable team at Ewood, playoffs possible even for an average team hitting form at season end. I am going to give him a max of 4 more transfer windows including friggin Januarys, with this summer being very important. He has players to replace and positions to fill but stymied already with his players contract extension madness. Like many I expect no progress, but for Mowbrays job to be safe. I think we have been done up like a kipper but it's ok, he's a nice open and honest bloke. And fucking Preston, from miles behind, are now above us. Amazing what a good January window can do!
  22. For some reason Chrome on my mobile will no longer open any LT links. Started a couple of weeks ago, all other sites I visit are ok. There is an upside to this
  23. RIP Gordon Banks, a great keeper and worthy World Cup winner in 1966 If only he had been injury free in 1970.
