  1. Same here, virtual teatotaller. I do miss those days that I can't remember ....
  2. He needs to play in tough competitive matches so a L2 loan looks sensible. It would toughen him up, make or break. He will not get that at youth development level or when warming his backside on the bench. 15 minute cameos are counter productive.
  3. Pop into Elland Rd and ask Bielsa, he knows all about us.
  4. He was more concerned about the imminent impact from a Toon player than with taking aim. That will have to be knocked out of him. Literally. I saw BB live on tv in quite a few England youth games and he looked good apart from a sometimes dodgy first touch, but nothing like at Rovers, so still have hopes for him.
  5. I have yet to see a Vlog by any Rovers fan, and there are a few, which appear monetized in any way. Just home movie style and quality by fans for fans for fun, for the love of doing it. I have yet to see any such Vlogs that you would look at just for the match highlights! I like them for the often different camera angle for a goal scored, if the filmed it! I fully understand copyright etc etc but just think that the official attitude shown is pathetic yet symptomatic of the big brother 1984 world the UK, more than anywhere else I know of, has become. Arsenal Fan TV is sponsored and I think carries adds. I only watch that when Arsenal are going through a bad patch when it can be hilarious. But this channel is only comment and fan interviews not highlights, understandable as it makes money.
  6. I thought we knew he was going much earlier than that, and he was staying on to the end of season as a goodwill gesture when he would utilise his walk away contract clause. (I would love to know the financial part of that con he pulled) I agree with your other comments on Lambert which mirror my views on him. EDiT: ok my recollection was a bit out of synch. As soon as he had sold Rhodes and that window closed he started moaning on an ever increasing scale culminating with his walk away announcement in late April, in which, being Lambert, he praised everyone and their dog at Rovers.
  7. Good luck with the rest of your season. I remember when you played some of the best football in England with those Dutch lads. If you go down I will be pleasantly suprised if Lambert sticks around in the 3rd division. But where else could he now go and may see leading Ipswich back up as a way back for himself. Personally I hope you stay up this season for proper fans like yourself.
  8. Leeds lose at Stoke, well they were a man short in the bushes.
  9. Fish? In the River Darwen at Ewood? Things must have improved.
  10. Clamping down on what are basically "home" video quality offerings by fans for fans. As someone who does watch them I am confident that they are not watched for the quality of the video of any match action they may contain! They are no threat to anyone and are done by fans for the love of the game. The exception being the monetised Arsenal Fan tv. I've just watched 5 mins of match highlights taken from the DE upper and am confident more will follow soon. Just imagine trying to get 3,000 Geordies or Leeds fans not to use their phones at the Ewood games, can't be done so pick on your own!
  11. Just watched a short vid of match highlights, taken, oddly enough, from DE upper. Cheers Ipswich lads!
  12. Agreed. Rovers should ask the lad for guidance on social media usage and also on how to present a video to fans on a "difficult" subject so well, as in his latest vid.
  13. I watched it pal. Must have missed that part so belated apologies to Waggotts maggots. FFS JFC
  14. Meanwhile the internet is awash with easy and free good quality access to every PL and Championship game on live, plus every Sky and BT channel 24/7 TTF that the 'authorities' are inept at what should be their priorities.
  15. He's starting Rovers Fan TV today at the Ipswich game. Interviewing fans outside Ewood pre and post match. Waggott's maggotts will no doubt be on the look out. I wonder if they will allow if filming and interviewing say outside the shop or near Uncle Jack. LOL, he does miss a few goals but I liked the ones scored at the BBE from a view diffrent from usual.
  16. Yes petty indeed. I often watch the videos done by fans of other clubs covering Rovers games, some are excellent, some awful but can't fault their enthusiasm. I know it breaks the rules of ground entry but shit, it's not going on Netflix!
  17. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=fTlrULfDcUo&t=295s I have watched this lads short matchday videos for a couple of years and as an overseas fan found them a good way of getting a different feel for matchdays that you don't get just from say usual highlights. After 2 years and out of the blue, presumably the insipid pale dreary blue of Waggots office, orders issued have resulted in this lad being banned from doing any further filming on matchdays inside Ewood or risk the rath of Rovers. I have never seen him post anything controversial on his channel and he comes across as a well balanced lad who just wants to share his love of Rovers. I do not know him from Adam but just subscribe to his Youtube channel. I wish him well on his new venture, Rovers Fan TV. It will be interesting to see if the Club try to interfere with fan interviews outside of Ewood at the Ipswich game. I wonder if Rovers will actually have the bottle to ban all phone videoing inside Ewood.
  18. @CP Company Ltd is a damn Bielsa spy! Bielsa has them all over social media like FB, Twatters and Instantnoodles and now on MBs. Bielsa gets a daily report on all players and tactics discussed here, invaluable insight If we had any bushes or trees on the MB then CP would be lurking in them.
  19. Of course it is and has been for a while, he even said recently he has an elite player team he frequently consults with.
  20. The Mowbray quote again reaffirms why he and Waggot did not need to go to Pune. There will be no cash puchases of any quality players in this window. All done by SMS in 2 minutes months ago: Q: Can we have some cash in January A: No
  21. Well done Lynsey Talbot, showing she's a Rovers true blue. If good enough for our GM then surely good enough for this MB.
  22. Mowbray has done an early decent job of covering most bases for any hiccup, including a classic "“We were playing in League One last year with that team": https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/rovers/news/17362638.extra-time-defeat-worst-case-scenario-for-rovers-boss/
  23. Good advice above. For sure contact the Rovers Community Trust http://www.brfctrust.co.uk/Community/staff Survey done - tick.
  24. Joe in Team of the Week at whoscored.com, which is statistically based.
