It really doesn’t. It’s a very calm and rational post.

Luton at Turf Moor next game. Huge.
-
Burnley showed a bit of fight there but still lost. Villa look to me in recent games like their purple patch is over. I expect them to drop, away a bit now.
-
A lot of Dingle whinging I can see online but every big decision has been spot on. The two VAR offside calls (one to disallow a Burnley goal) were correct. The second yellow is Hyam-like in stupidity and it’s a penalty.

I’m not Travis biggest fan, but as a captain / leader on the pitch he’s better than most of this lot. -

Don’t recall the first one. And I did spend the last 10 minutes shouting “why’s that not a yellow” at all of their fouls -

If you mean the second one, it’s a blatant yellow. The stupid fucker just grabs his shirt once he’s been turned. Usually it would win “dumbest red card of the year”, but Callum already has that sewn up this season. -

He plays prettier football, and he makes less obscure team selections. But with regards to winning football matches, me neither. -

Not that I want him gone, but that’s just the old “If Mowbray leaves who would want to come here” argument again repackaged. -

The entire defence was fucking woeful there. Brittain and Hill rubbish again and Hyam thick as pig shit. -

It didn’t hold up. It seriously declined once JRC was absent (w3 L6). It then fell off a cliff completely when Dolan went missing a couple of games later) It’s also noticeable when we didn’t start JRC earlier in the season Rovers W1 and L4 -

So we did. I took the Cardiff cup game as being a league game. Apologies original poster. -

Err. No we don't. It's the first time we've lost 3 on the bounce in 15 months. Weirdly, our longest streak under JDT is 4 draws ! Hull have won 2 of their last 9 against us . -
You know this how?

Garrett starts for me. I’d also get Travis and Leonard back in. I’d also consider a curve ball like Gilsenan. -
But when there’s 30 seconds left and you have a free kick on the half way line just put your centre halves front and try and hit them. We had 95 minutes to play football and against both Watford and Preston we’d managed 1 goal in both games (not from any crosses as we tend not to cross). To be instructed to keep the ball in your own half and try and pass through so late in the game is stubbornly stupid. And yet both games ended with the crowd urging them to launch it and us passing around getting our stats up. Its a bit of a trivial point in the grand scheme of thing, but it’s an indication of the stubbornness of the way we play.
-
Someone who when you are losing by a single goal in two high-profile home games doesn’t let his team spend the last 30 seconds passing it from defender to defender in your own half only for the referee to blow the final whistle.

JDT is the right manager in the wrong situation. With shite recruitment, thin squad and numerous injuries, we would currently be better with a manager who isn't so one-dimensional tactic-wise.

Hopefully we can get back to square pegs in square holes tomorrow. Brittain and Pickering at full backs with Hyam and Carter in the centre. Szmodics back in presuming he's available and I'd rest Moran for either Garrett or Markanday as he's been off it for a while now. I'd also persevere with Ennis. I've got a feeling we will persist with Brittain further up though and end up with one of Hill, Carter or Travis at right back. -

Just watched the highlights as I wasnt in the mood after the day after game. I knew Leo was at fault from watching it live, but they're both worse mistakes than I thought. The first one actually gets pushed almost centrally, and he's under no pressure for the second one. -

Well first of all I thought the day went off really well. I went down to the fanzone for a bit beforehand just to show my face and spend a bit of money on the stalls. Great to see the stands so full and it was just an enjoyable atmosphere right up until it went wrong on the pitch. Credit to all those involved from all parties to make this happen. Everything has been covered in more detail already, but we ran out of legs, bodies and ideas. If the disallowed goal would have stood that would have been the game, but Leo then drops two errors and we end up behind. You could see it coming though for a while before they eventually scored. Wahlsted wasn’t free (unlike Telalovic), and it looks more and more a poor signing. Wharton and Tronstad were outstanding, and I thought Travis did a decent job filling in at full back. Garrett also showed why he should have been utilised more. We can’t complain that we’re fatigued and short of bodies, and yet he has been in the bench and got 5 minutes here and there all season. Hyam has been a big miss (as has JRC). As for leaving early, I wish I had left 30 seconds before full time instead of watching us tap it around at the back until the ref blew his whistle. The clock on the scoreboard now shows when time is up, so one of the centre halves should have been left upfront and the ball should have been launched. I don’t mind the way we play under JDT, but our own players seeing the game out in our own half was stupidity. Same against Preston. -

Its a real shame the weather hasnt been more favourable for walk ons today, but still a magnificent response. -
It’s on the link I posted above. But they haven’t needed to stop sending our tickets in the post.

Fraser Reid says Rovers are “working with the EFL and their Green Code standard to ensure we continue to make a positive impact where we can to increase our sustainability levels. It’s all about reducing our carbon footprint.” Ive just had a look at the EFL’s Green Code. Apparently Bristol City are the first EFL club to achieve Green code accreditation. I’ve also had a look at Bristol City’s ticketing options, which appear to be post tickets out in the mail, or turn up and buy on a matchday.

I’ve also worked long enough with people who bullshit about their reason for doing stuff rather than being honest. It is clearly all about money, if only a ‘test’ in this instance. You say engage with him, but several people have and yet have just been fed the ‘carbon footprint’ line. No explanation as to why not printing off a couple of thousand tickets is worth the risk of alienating long standing supporters. Just trot the same line out again. He may have been ultra-helpful in organising Saturday, and fair play to him if he has been. However in this instance he is pissing off supporters by his ‘actions’ and also not being truthful as to the reasons for doing it. It’s just more lack of transparency from those at Ewood.
