Went for 4 didn't it? Or is my memory letting me down. He's not going to give 4 dot balls back. π€·ββοΈ That golfer once had his ball picked up by a bird didn't he? And got penalised for it. Should everyone in the field have duffed a shot 1m to make it fair. Sometimes freak occurrences happen. I suppose the problem being ours happened in the last few balls of a World Cup final. That happens in an early group match it's probably never mentioned again. Was such a pivotal moment at a crucial time. But we didn't engineer it. That's the key difference for me.

By 'unfair' I read 'accidental', because that's what the ball bouncing off the bat was. Not planned and premeditated like yesterday. If we want to go down that road how about we disallow every deflected goal in football. Ball bounces off the back of defenders head = "That's an unfortunate accident, we just chalk that off right?" π€ No, you get bad luck in sports sometimes. Totally different when judging a players purposeful actions. (I.e. Shane Duffy's two against Cardiff definitely count!! π€¬π€¬)

Perfect example of why these are false comparisons. The batter here is still in shot action stance. Totally legitimate. Now if that batter had stood up, grounded his bat, and marked the floor with his foot, I'm 100% sure Foakes wouldn't be looking for the stumping anymore. But since the batter overbalanced his weight while still in this pose there was an opportunity of a stumping. It's like chalk and cheese compared to yesterday. Don't know how people are struggling with this.

Warner offering out an 80 year old man. ππ What a bellend.

Pretty much the same as I think when Rovers only have to get through 6 mins injury time to hold onto a precious 3 pts.
-
You'll have to explain to me. Don't know the incident.
-
I'm so sick of people going to rule books on these occasions. It's irrelevant to me. It's not in the rule book to give the football back after an injury throw in. Not in golf's to not stand on people's line on the green. I donβt think it's in snooker's to give a foul on yourself when touching balls. But you do/donβt any of those three things and see how the sporting world views you afterwards. Couldn't care less about Rule 45, subsection 14, article 4. π Absolute scumbags.

Urgh. Looking like Madame Tussauds for you Sunday. Get us a picture of you slapping Ronaldo in the face. π

I don't wear a top with a YouTube logo on. And I donβt get surly and moody every weekend because of them. And I certainly don't waste hours reading and discussing whether two of their employees are better or worse at handling and distribution. π€·ββοΈ -

Ta, will give it a try. I put them on in shower sometimes and have to do a pathetic naked twist dance trying to tap the ad skip button without covering the floor in water. Will it stop that? Tmi? -

I know there's a more serious conversation going on, but feel like this is an underrated post. On topic, the only thing I'll say is how much excessive ads on things like YouTube piss me off. I can, for example, watch three different 1 hour podcasts- one will have no adverts, one will have two or three, and one of them will have adverts every bloody 5 mins. π€¬π€¬ Which angers me even more when I know the person doing the podcast is already a multimillionaire. Just excessive greed. I would have thought the fact that BRFCS is a non-profit organisation would have resulted in this conversation going a little differently. But hey ho. Now, has anyone got hold of JB on the jetski in Barbados to let him know this is still rumbling on. π€ -
Think you jinxed her!
-
Nah, I charge him full price. And he has to supply the chicken parmos every Fri night. He can stay as long as he wants on those rates. C'mon Luton!!
-
Just bizarre that he's picked this moment to sound off. There is bias in commentators, we've all seen it with Neville/Carragher/Micah etc. I don't mind it personally, like to see a bit of passion for the game. But Tyler yesterday has gone viral for barely reacting to the goals going in, and Keown has decided this is the time to make an accusation. Truly odd.
-
Tell me that come Xmas if we're fighting relegation with a team that don't get on and support each other. Tin hat on, but maybe we'd never have got near the Top 6 these last two seasons without the comradery. What if 10th-16th was our level, and the extra team spirit lifted our position. Take that away and where we heading? Players that get on tend to perform better surely. Don't the sports scientists subscribe to that view. (Everyone then quotes Cole and Yorke hating each other, but that's an interesting story because it's not the norm.) Maybe I'm grasping at straws but the feel good atmosphere amongst the squad has seemed like a real positive recently. That's all I meant. Would be sad to lose it. P.S. Can't argue with your average players lacking instinct comment. We definitely need fresh blood and a winners mentality incorporated. ππ I thought I'd lost track of the conversation somewhere along the way.
-
And yet Keown today thinks Tyler is bias against Arsenal. How does that work? Certainly didn't sound like a man celebrating when they conceded.
-
Ah, good stuff then, nice to see. I've jumped the gun on half a statement. Such a shame this squad is kind of breaking up. Does seem there's been a good atmosphere in the team. Pity the recruitment at the top has hampered that spirit amounting to anything tangible. It can often take you places.
-
I hadn't really looked at it that way, but now you point it out......he does mention everything Rovers except the fans. Hopefully just an oversight. If he really does have any issue with the fans here, wait till he has a bad spell in Spain.

Good luck to Ben, I wish him well and will keep an eye out for results and matches he's playing in. Not convinced he'll cut it in La Liga. Have that feeling he'll be another in a long line to leave the club with high expectations of a stellar career, only for it to nosedive and peter out. Not hoping for that though, no bitterness, would like to see him smash it over there. Maybe he'll prove me wrong.
-
That's the sensible, big picture, forward planning view. I can't bring myself to look to next season yet, until this one is fully wrapped up. It's not just the Mowbray factor, if Coventry somehow do it it's going to break my heart. What an opportunity wasted. But if Boro cruise to the trophy, it won't feel like we've missed out on much. Other than a potential first trip to Wembley.
-
How badly this near miss hurts will depend on how the playoffs go. If Luton and Boro sail thro to the final, as expected, then it's quite easy to take. But if other things start happening, it's going to be a bitter pill to swallow. I'm very uneasy that the pain and suffering hasn't finished yet, despite the final whistle being blown on our season.

It looked like when your mates cheat on PlayStation and all their players have 110% ability.
