To be fair to you, I've had a look at the stats and it's not as bad as I thought. Think I'm maybe going off the Prem stats of 1pt per game. God knows why as it's an eternity since we were there. In the last 3 Champ seasons 6pts after 6 games would have us 17th, 18th, and 16th. So, yeah, I suppose that's not panic stations in terms of relegation. But it would also mean we were 2 pts, 2 pts, and 3 pts off the relegation spots. I certainly wouldn't be happy being potentially one loss off being in the bottom 3. But, I guess it could be argued with the fixture list at the start of our campaign, that would be a false position.

Obviously fixture lists distort things etc, but yes, 1 point per game is relegation standard no? Or it certainly puts you in that area of the table and under threat.

I get the theory that he's fairly good as a cover player in the squad, but is he really the type of character we need around the club? People talk of footballers needing a rest. It's not the assists/goals that worried me DE. Was the goals conceded, clean sheets, win % etc. Think someone on here put up some stats and the difference was huge. Yes, stats can be misleading, and one man doesn't make a team win or lose, but the figures didn't look good for him at all.

Personally don't think we're doing too bad in the international sports arena. Semi final World Cup football. Semi final Nations League football. Winners World Cup Cricket. You're not a fan of the Mowbray Out thread, I see that. No-ones forcing you to be in it. You're welcome to start a positive, Mowbray In thread where some of the good things about the club can be discussed. The promising young players we have, Bradley Johnson's debut etc

Although this thread is called "Mowbray Out", it's hardly full of people claiming TM should be immediately sacked is it? It's full of people voicing concerns about the manager, often long held concerns, not just about 1 game of football, but about a a whole load of different areas of the club - recruitment, team sheets, tactics, substitutions etc etc I think most people would accept maybe 10 games or so would probably be a sensible scale to measure this season and the manager. But this thread now exists to continue that ongoing assessment as those games progress. And looking at our fixture list, our squad list, and TM's insistence on doing exactly the same thing week in, week out - I would expect this thread to get very busy over the next few months. I hope I'm wrong though. As I'm sure do most Rovers fans.

I see absolutely no signs of that personally, but each to their own.
