  1. Well, you have 5 hrs left to find somewhere to be! 😏
  2. Have you watched The Social Dilemma on Netflix yet? Pretty interesting.
  3. Well, Fowler had a man sent off on 25th min, but still held out for a 0-0 draw. So, he has his first pt on the board, but team have scored 0 goals in 4 matches. Fair play to him for managing over in India. He must really love the sport. Fowler net worth is over 30 million, and as far as I can tell managers in that league get about £150k a year. So, he isn't doing it for the pocket money.
  4. Just discovered there's an ex-Rovers match about to kick off at 2pm. Robbie Fowler v Owen Coyle = East Bengal v Jamshedpur (Indian Super League) Fowler's team sit bottom of the table with stats - 3 matches, 0 goals scored, 7 goals conceded. 😮 Coyle has played 4 matches and only lost one. C'mon Robbie, let's break your duck and get a win on the board! 🤞
  5. Daunting as it is, we've scored 8 more goals than them in the league. Home v away records we've scored more than them and conceded less. And they got beat away a week ago by Luton, although I accept they had horrific injury problems. Not saying it's a gimme by any stretch, but we've surely got to go into games like this expecting the team to have a chance of picking up all 3 pts. Besides, we're due some luck against them. The deflected goal in 2011 still hurts me now. 2 goals up and cruising. One of the worst deflections I've ever seen against us. Just looked it up and realised it was Bradley Johnson that scored it. Hopefully, he does the same for us this time round.
  6. Despite us getting the standard nosebleed, and it feeling like groundhog day, I'm strangely quite positive still. That graphic came up showing us in the top 2 in the league for basically all attacking stats. We've looked way more solid at the back recently (Kaminski key to it all imo) We played some really nice stuff tonight. No end product, but it happens, mainly due to AA having a stinker/ball hogging. I've seen enough the last 2 weeks for me to keep the faith. I still think we have the ingredients to compete in the league this season. A win Saturday and tonight is all forgotten. And we really need to get over this hoodoo of not beating top half teams. 🤞
  7. That elephant looks traumatised!
  8. Get in! That's real fighting spirit. Well done lads. BBC repoter just called it "a soft penalty and very harsh red card".
  9. That's the Brentford commentary turned off then.
  10. Every week there's a freak injury! So innocuous some of these. Even Dack's was a year ago.
  11. Commas really can change context.
  12. Course ref, just a friendly chat needed there.
  13. "Blackbum will be thinking all they got to do is turn up and the games theirs." They've clearly never spoken to a Rovers fan before. We generally don't expect to win when 2-0 up in the 80th min. "...and don't be mugs and fall for their dirty tactics.keep 11 on the pitch..." Wtf are these dirty tactics?! Do they mean our players being clean through on goal and getting hauled down? FFS. Pretty much every opposing team's fans that has had a red against us this season has called their own player a moron for what they did. Not our fault AA is uncatchable. ?‍♂️?‍♂️
  14. I did as you asked. Not the result I was expecting from your statement. ?? That's the first 2 pages. I think by page 3 a few posters are questioning the fee and whether it could be spent better on the defence. But that's not a reflection on BB himself, can't see any personal derogatory comments towards him, just budgetary queries. I think you're maybe getting confused with the comments made about BB after he had severely underperformed in a Rovers shirt for over 18 months. But I'm guessing he would be big enough to admit that period simply wasn't good enough himself. Let's not rewrite history and pretend he was never welcomed to the club. A lot of people, including me, came to the conclusion there wasn't a player in there and he'd never come good. He's proved us very wrong the last 6 months, which is great news. Subsequently a lot of people, including me, have held our hands up and admitted we got it wrong. So not quite sure what point you're trying to make. Isn't that what you wanted? The masses to see the light? (Or more like Ben to shine the light). It's happened, you've got your wish. You should be happy no? Unless, of course, it's just "I told you so!" points you're after. ? In which case, just let me know how many, and I'll bag em up and send your direction asap.
  15. Was even earlier I think Gav, from around Rd 5, that his corner seemed to be panicking. That is way more worrying than taking the knee to get out the fight. If his eye was badly damaged then fair enough, I don't blame him for taking the easy way out. He's young at 23 and potentially plenty more battles ahead. But it seemed from early on that he simply didn't like getting punched. Which is a slight issue for a boxer. I reckon the bloodied nose was troubling him too. Looks like he can dish it out, but can't take it back.
  16. Good call. Not many gave JJ a chance.
  17. Barnsley have scored exactly 2 goals against us the last 6 games running. In 14 matches against them since 1997 they've only failed to score once (0-0 draw in 2001). If we keep a clean sheet today I'll be stunned and pleasantly surprised. In reality, I think we need to score at least 2 goals, possibly 3 to win.
  18. I'd hate to see what happens when you do start making judgements.
  19. "That Dolan lad looks good, Goes to show what a great youth System Blackburn have" ????? Fair play to em, I do enjoy a bit of gallows humour.
  20. 93rd min and Big Ben is sprinting to close down the keeper. ?? I'll take a jug of custard with my humble pie thanks.
  21. If Carlsberg did local derby matches.....
  22. Desperately trying to buy a pen there.
