  1. Snap! I'm thinking we haven't distributed our funds wisely. The Rovers way i suppose.
  2. Shocking stat. No team is getting anywhere near promotion with fragility like that. It's almost as if we really needed those defensive reinforcements that most have been screaming for the last 2 transfer windows. What do us fans know though?!
  3. Wigan's form on the pitch is immense. 9 matches. 7 wins 1 draw 8 clean sheets. And still in serious danger of going down. World's gone mad.
  4. Worst bit is I don't even think it was, I reckon he was angry cos he fell over.....you know like a toddler does. Then just got up and lashed out in rage and frustration. To be fair, his blood pressure was probably already up from sitting on the bench watching Walton hoof it to Armstrong 26 times in a row. Sure boiled my piss.
  5. Would make sense, BB didn't seem to complain much. Just trudged off and took his shirt off. Seemed pretty accepting of his fate.
  6. Enough's enough. I don't wanna end up disliking the guy, but much more of this, and that's where it's heading.
  7. It's the most disappointing image I've witnessed in 80 min. There was some serious competition. Congrats Tony, you won something!
  8. I could stomach losing 2-0 if we'd really gone for it in the last half hour. We scare teams when we're on the front foot, and had nothing to lose in this match at this stage of the season. But no, we sat back and pissed about playing tippy tappy, until one of our clanger candidates could be given the opportunity to shine. With various options available to oblige,(Bennett, Rothwell, Johnson, Walton), it was great to see one of them eventually step up to the plate. ???????!!
  9. So was their keeper in the 1st half, but he made sure he held onto the ball. That's the difference.
  10. Just noticed the massive banner facing the camera at Cardiff is a tribute to Peter Wittingham. RIP. Somehow feels more tragic when it's a freak accident.
  11. Did exactly the same. No problem at all. My laptop was freezing loads, but it's old and crap, and I know the CPU and Disk runs close to 100%. Switched to android mobile app and was a perfect stream throughout. I think it's possible a lot that are having issues might find it's their equipment rather than the feed. (excepting the initial balls up obv, was about 3.15pm till I could get on at all).
  12. Yeah, but boxing at 5am sucks. More so, if it's a massive let down, like Mayweather Pacquiao. Never been so annoyed at losing 2 hrs sleep in my life. ??
  13. Hearn said as much last year. For all everyone calls him a snake, he was quite honest about it, basically said they keep offering massive cheques, so he'd be stupid not to go where the most money was. Explained it away as him doing the best for the interests of his clients mind. Yeah, ok Eddie, no benefit to you at all I'm sure. At least it's all taking money out the regime. That's how I settle it with my conscience in order to have Sat night 10pm beer and pizza boxing party anyway.
  14. Can't see it being in Britain. I've said before, out of the 2 - Saudi and Vegas- I pick Saudi every time. For entirely selfish, time difference reasons. I know people worry about legitimising a brutal regime. But the UK still gives 100 million odd aid to them, and in last 5 years we sold 15 billion of arms to them to wage war with Yemen. If people want to make political points, address those bigger issues. A boxing match barely registers in the big picture. And I don't want to piss about at 5am to enjoy the biggest bout in decades.
  15. Don't spoil it! I got 2 to go. If you're short a show McMafia is ok. That and Fauda probably the 2 I've enjoyed most in lockdown.
  16. Nope, was in my planner for ages, never got round to it. Was aware it was Meadows though. Looked depressing as hell. Worth the misery or not?
  17. Wow! Brassic has more in common with Last of the Summer Wine than This is England.
  18. Nurit would have you for breakfast. ? Did you know the actor that plays Doron was a commando in the Isreal special forces when he was younger. And at 19 his girlfriend was killed by a Palestinian terrorist with a 15 inch knife. Basically, his life has been like a lot of the show.
  19. Me too. Just finished ep 9 season 3. The tension in some of these episodes is intense right? Glad you're enjoying it.
  20. Ta, will get to it when I finish Fauda. I'm doing all the foreign language ones on my own, wife not keen on subtitles. Although I think she may tackle Money Heist with me. As everyone raves about it.
  21. Glad you're enjoying it. Nah, it's not up there with the greats, but still a good watch. I'm halfway though season 3, so not long to go. My favourite character is probably Gabi, Captain Eyov. I would not be messing with him. You'd end up in a solitary cell for a decade.
  22. I used to be the same. I had 2 rules, never watched anything in black and white ( other than Schindler's List, I mean old b & w), and never watched anything with subtitles. Then 5 seasons of Narcos converted me. I'm all over it now. Will be moving on to Money Heist with full subtitles next. Heard good things. Again, I think a lot of people watch it with dubbing.
  23. It builds from there. I almost bailed out after 2 episodes, (didn't help I watched episode 1 with the awful dubbing), thought I'll give it one more, and then I was hooked. Watching now, Series 2, Episode 9, all sorts of drama going on.
