  1. I could listen to him all day, talking about football...but I did get a belly-full of "Rovers fans, just want to see Shearer and Sutton banging in the goals again"...The old "entitled" card? I think we just wanted a normal club again...
  2. Funny, isn't it. There have been so many players I have loved... Eamonn Rogers, Billy Wilson, John McNamee, Kit Napier, Roger Jones, Howard Gayle, Bradley Dack, for instance........and household names, who, somehow, did not stir my emotions in the same way. Subjectivity....and I loved Trav. He seemed to represent something...
  3. Derby, who nearly went out of business very recently...
  4. "Their culture is respect"... Not for us fans!
  5. Beginning to sound pretty toxic. What will we hear next? Certain employees make an official complaint about RG or SP...then get ..we..er.."moved on"?
  6. Well, it is a deliberately, sarcastic use of Gestede's word, which is heavy with the implication "my way or the highway"

  8. Hmm...I think there is a lot more to this than we know.. As well as "life changing money", I am also smelling a trail of bad feeling e.g...Gestede, Suhail, Eustace, Leslie Fielding's "redundancy" etc.. Looks like a clear out of all those, who challenged the new orthodoxy or were not "aligned"...
  9. I know where you are coming from, but in my own ( non premier league) lifetime, I'd say the likes of Field, Metcalfe, Brotherston, Speedie, Szmodics were legends..
  10. Lol....Misread your comment, as "do well in League 11"
  11. My guess is that they are trying to move him on...
  12. It makes you wish he was from Holland, then we could give him a Dutch cap...
  13. Dennis, Woodrow, Forshaw, I was thinking. Shocking business for a team looking to bolster promotion aspirations. Hardly, the cavalry arriving!
  14. Thanks.. So Myles Anderson's Unleash the Player Ltd is indeed an agency..
  15. Not sure it is that simple. Why did he decide to leave? What messages was he receiving from Suhail and Gestede?
  16. Yeah, I heard that. Need to check the source, though.. And I did find him on LinkedIn.." Unleash the player Ltd".. It looks like an agency or a tentacle of one, but I am not sure..
  17. Yes, an obvious pattern. Hard not to think it is deliberate sabotage...
  18. Nailing my own colours to the mast, I think Eustace's obvious man management and preparation skills would have had us in the play offs, had he only been backed. I think Rudy, Suhail et al wanted him out because he wasn't "aligned". Now doesn't that word do a lot of heavy lifting?!!!
  19. I am sure someone told me years ago that Nixon had some kind of involvement in our agent feeding frenzy...
  20. If "they" are still involved / increasing their involvement here again, I guess Rovers won't be the only club? Is there a chain of several clubs? I guess it will be a bit like those diagrams of rock music family trees! Weirdly, it "appears" that some of the recent signings might be ok. ..unlike the January window, when I was a bit suspicious about how, why -and in whose interests-most of the recruits arrived....
  21. We know Suhail has been here from the start of this nightmare. Anyone know what connection Gestede and Adam Owen might have with Steve Kean?..
