I was in Frankfurt from Friday until Monday and didn't see any trouble at all, aside from a few silly drunks. Heard that there were a few scuffles on the Friday after Germany won, but didn't see anything as we were outside the city centre that night. To be honest I expected far worse and was pleasantly surprised by how well everyone got on. Agree about how welcoming the Germans have been, didn't meet a single unfriendly person on the whole trip.

This is a fantastic idea. Many people should volunteer and gain the admiration of their peers.
