  1. It was attempted in the BBE lower after we went 2-0 up, but was met with bewilderment and dissolved into fits of laughter. Someone posted an MP3 in the Feyenoord thread.
  2. Any idea of the tune, or any of the words? Only one I can think of both sets of fans singing is the one about the European Cup. Liverpool: "We've won it five times, we've won it five tiiiiiimes! In Istanbul, we won it five times." United: "We've won it two times, we've won it two tiiiiiimes! Without killing anyone, we've won it two times."
  3. Last season at Old Trafford in the Carling Cup. A win would have left us with Wigan in the final and a fantastic chance of another trophy.
  4. Stu Wilky is in the very first one. Looks like I'm in the background of the last one (with the BRFCS flag) as a very blurry blur. edit: Only managed to take three pictures before my camera died, but they are here.
  5. Pick32: Joe Garner, first team material? No offence to the lad, I've seen him have some decent games for the Academy, but he's not got a chance at the moment. According to Rovers.co.uk: 2006 Reserve Appearances 3 Goals 1 (Granted this doesn't include a hat-trick against Tranmere in the Pontins League Cup) 2005 Reserve Appearances 12 (2 sub) Goals 2 Don't be silly.
  6. Did they not only draw with Liverpool (1-1 and 3-3) and United (1-1 and a 3-1 defeat)?
  7. Don't know the guy personally but I've heard a different story from a friend of his. Rather than any moronic act of self-aggrandizement, apparently he stumbled and fell through the window after drinking far too much. Which, especially given the price and availability of beer there, is quite an easy thing to do. We saw a number of people severely worse for wear after the game, and not only Rovers fans. It merely makes him a drunken fool, rather than a d1ckhead. And how many people posting here aren't drunken fools? I bet you're off your face right now.
  8. We only won the game today because Ashes by Embrace came on at half time.
  9. I probably missed someone else posting this. The 'most dedicated' football fans spend nearly £100,000 following their team during a lifetime. BBC
  10. I do quite like that preview. Hurrah. 01. Chelsea 02. Liverpool 03. Arsenal 04. Manchester United 05. Tottenham Hotspur 06. Newcastle United 07. Everton 08. Blackburn Rovers 09. West Ham United 10. Portsmouth 11. Aston Villa 12. Middlesbrough 13. Fulham 14. Bolton 15. Manchester City 16. Charlton Athletic 17. Sheffield United 18. Wigan Athletic 19. Reading 20. Watford
  11. Either of those would be fantastic. Or the chase-scene music from Benny Hill.
  12. Aye he was shocking in the Worthington Cup Final. Giving that penalty to Spurs in the last minute, I couldn't believe what I was seeing.
  13. Rang them up and it's a printing error that's on every confirmation they've sent out. At least they didn't misspell my surname on t'other side.
  14. The BBC is part of the world media...
  15. I was in Frankfurt from Friday until Monday and didn't see any trouble at all, aside from a few silly drunks. Heard that there were a few scuffles on the Friday after Germany won, but didn't see anything as we were outside the city centre that night. To be honest I expected far worse and was pleasantly surprised by how well everyone got on. Agree about how welcoming the Germans have been, didn't meet a single unfriendly person on the whole trip.
  16. This is a fantastic idea. Many people should volunteer and gain the admiration of their peers.
  17. Seats? Grass? Does he have to be a member of the squad just so he can tell everyone about which ground sells the best sausages?
