Having watched it on TV I'm really disappointed with the second half. It started so well with huge chances and we could have been two up within the first five minutes. First half was good but I wonder what Hughes told them in the dressing room because they came out for the second half and were rubbish really. Pedersen completely disappeared, Kuqi was awful and Tugay and Sav were completely ineffective. We let them take control and win the ball in midfield far to easily. Disappointed that Hughes didn't use his substitues earlier. The match was crying out for someone like Dickov or Reid much earlier. Fair enough result, just sucks that we seemingly didn't bother to play in the second half.

How is the overheating issue? Have you noticed anything? I've seen quite a few reports about it and some threads on other boards where 360 owners are complaining about their consoles overheating.

Sounded like it was a tighter game in the second half than it should have been, but still 3 points and we move up to 8th in the league. Nice -

A shame, but a good way for him to start a new year. Bury the old and start again. Best way to do it. Best of luck to him. -

So basically, you're saying you aren't skilled enough to win at Pro Evo then? -

Lucas did a good job in the center but we missed his attacking runs I thought. Reid couldn't match his determination going forward. Brett Emerton should have a chat with Neill about how to go FORWARD, everytime he's on the ball he cuts inside and holds up play. Lucas keeps going, watch and learn Brett. -

First time in two and a half years we've come from behind to win in the league. Not bad that We got lucky with the penalty though, bit harsh I thought but it was just what we needed at the right time. I suppose bad luck evens itself out a bit over the season. Todd shouldn't have been sent off last time and we shouldn't really have had a pen today but there you go. Shaky defense today but I suppose that's hardly surprising considering we were missing Todd and Nelsen. Zura needs to clean up his act a bit though, he was diving like it was going out of fashion today... -

If you're talking about the header that hit the outside of the post, he did really well to get that anywhere near target in the first place. Had to twist his body in the air to get behind it. Thought he was excellent and did his job very well, challenged the slower Arsenal defense when he could and created chances doing it. I'm more disappointed with Pedersen's deliveries from corner kicks, because with Lehmann prone to airial mistakes in the box, if he could have hit Kuqi or Nelsen we could have got something from that. -

Don't think the result reflected what happened during the game really. We weren't outplayed by any stretch of the imagination. Just needed a little extra infront of goal and we should have taken something from this game. A draw wouldn't have been unfair. But once we went behind that early there was always a risk that they could hit us on the counter attack at any time, which of course happened towards the end of the first half (excellent goal by the way). But Rovers were brave and commited men forward when the oppertunity presented itself. Bellamy had a good game in particular. Nothing else to be said about v. Persie's goal than the fact that it was pure class. Brilliant goal, just typical that we were on the recieving end of it. -

Their defense was a mess against Wigan so we've got oppertunities there. However, they do have Henry...who will be our downfall I'm afraid. And v. Persie is looking good recently too so he'll probably score too. 3-1 or 4-2, but probably a fairly close game for most of the 90 mins. -

We got the sky commentators on our delayed run of the match here tonight and I noticed the same thing. Didn't catch the commentators name but he was very complimentary towards us and Tugay in particular. -

Interesting to hear Nigel Spackman commentating on the game during the first 15 mins of the second half when the referee decided he liked the sound of his own whistle a bit too much. He actually said that the referee was favouring the home team...must be a first, commentators actually saying it like it is. We were alright during the first 60 mins I though, until Lampard scored with that freekick. Our heads dropped then, not surprisingly when you've had the ref on your case since the restart. We showed that we can pass it around a bit though and play some football. Glimpses of some excellent one touch football coming forward, we need more of that. Wouldn't be seing that with Bellamy out of the side that's for sure. Both penalties were soft but correct. They outplayed us for the last 25-30 mins. Shame about the loss but we didn't disgrace ourselves at all. -

Makes for a change I suppose. Here in Norway we've been known as Gamst Pedersen & Co since he broke through into the first team last season. And especially since he scored the goals against Manure. -

Good defensive display by Rovers, made it very hard for Liverpool and it took a very good strike for them to take the lead. They created more after the goal and it could have been two or three towards to end. But credit to Rovers for having to play against 12 men. Most home biased ref I've seen for a good long while. He was awful. -

Looked like the ref lost the plot for a while there. Points to the spot, changes his mind, talks to linesman, goes back out towards the spot of the foul, has to check which player it is he wants to book, back to linesman, back out to players and sends off Zura. Zura was the last defender but Cisse was taking the ball away from goal when the foul happened. Was it a clear chance at goal? Can't say it was. Was it a red card? Not sure, seemed a little harsh, even though he was last man. Hmm. Anyway, we seemed fairly comfortable before that but it's going to be very hard now. We're going to have to defend and hope for a point. I suspect we'll see Mokoena on for Tugay at the start of the second half. -

I can't decide if it'll be a close game or if it'll be a typical "Crouch scores first goal for Liverpool" scenario. I'm actually fairly confident, would have been better if Bellamy was fit to play or at least come of the bench at some point. I'll settle for a point though. -
