  1. Started relatively well but I still don’t like this Arma up top / Gallagher out wide combo. Grosicki has Bennett on toast too.
  2. Yep - most are on red button, but we’re the main match. Really don’t know what to expect tomorrow. Just hope we’re resolute once again - need to start being tough to beat. Will plump for a 1-1.
  3. Thing is it wasn’t really a panic buy per se given TM wanted him for yonks and just refused to look elsewhere. Terrible buy I agree given we’ll never play two up top. As for our scouting network - it’s simply embarrassing.
  4. Yep that’s exactly how I see it going. Huff and puff, have one or two half chances, fall behind, one or two more half chances, no real panicking, game draws close.
  5. Yep. Hardly going to be springing many counters today are we. So bloody boring and dull. At home too FFS.
  6. Doesn’t want Madame and Balaji posing him the Brereton questions again is my bet. Absolute fool - I knew he’d do this after a few games. Gallagher’s not even great in his natural position of up front, let alone on the fecking wing. Still reckon Boro 1-0 today with more people starting to turn to Mowbray.
  7. Gallagher on the wing...I predicted he’d be shunted there for the majority of the season. Terrible use of £5million. Mowbray you plonker.
  8. A first half goal for us at home would be a bloody start.
  9. IF Mulgrew did have a bust up with TM then you can imagine it wouldn’t have gone down well with the majority of the players. Likes of Dack are very good mates with him, so imagine they’d have their team mates back. Very interested to see the performance and effort levels on Saturday.
  10. Think this’ll be a hard luck and hard fought 1-0 loss putting Tony and the boys deeper into the mire.
  11. Found Glen's quotes: Mulgrew apparently had major bust up with Mowbray this morning, a lot of unrest due to interview were the defence was slagged off (defence has been poor). Then TM basically told club to get him out. Unhappy camp , not a good sign with a number of players questioning interview, and TM
  12. Just waiting for Mercer’s prediction: ’Woodgate and Boro are struggling big time so even Mowbray can organise a team to smash their rabble. Can see us winning this one at a canter. Have gone for Rovers 2-0 at X/X and my fun bet of Rovers is 4-1 at X/X’
  13. Still can’t get over our ‘defending’ for both goals last night. Some of the worst you’re likely to see at professional level.
  14. I mentioned the other day whether something is amiss between Mowbray and Lenihan. He talked about how he’d have a battle to get back in and overlooking him for the captaincy seemed an odd choice. Go back 6 months and he wouldn’t stop raving about him - ‘got to get promotion or we’ll lose him’ etc. @Paul Mani - anything you can give insight to?
  15. Can’t believe we’re three weeks into the season and potentially will be playing a centre half partnership of Williams and Nyambe on Saturday in what is a must not lose game after a horror start. Such an avoidable mess.
  16. The shoehorning in of Gallagher is going to be difficult to watch. Bet he’ll be on the wing come Saturday with Graham back in up top. Can’t have Madame asking any more Brereton esque questions.
  17. Fortuitous win that doesn’t change much for me. Huge game on Saturday - pick players in their correct positions and just go for it Tony, for God’s sake man.
  18. I’d say square pegs in round holes is being kind to Mowbray.
  19. Don’t worry pal, we won’t be taking it that far!
  20. Jesus fecking Christ that defending again. Just clear off Tony, for the love of God.
