Its good that a player is desperate to play . Pity more young players don't have that attirude. If he isn't going to play and has been denied a loan then he has every right to be annoyed.

Lenihan seems to stand off the striker for the third giving him far too much time and room. The whole team looked lost and imbalanced in the second half. lots to learn and improve on in the international break

Can't argue with most of that. I wouldn't have chillwell anywhere near an England shirt and I think Delph is very under rated but good post. Will hughes and maddison will hopefully keep on improving and can be looked at by Southgate in a meaningless friendly. I did my acl when I was 16 and 18. The latter did cartelidge and tendons to. I spent 18 months getting back to fitness. I soon realised I couldn't play the way I used to and the enjoyment went. By the time I was 21 I was fit for nowt. Couldn't go for run without knee pains, swelling etc. Can't play any sport involving twisting and turning. So I now cycle but even that leaves my knee stiff for days. I understood what Michael Owen was saying but if he should of been still taking a wage knowing that then some ethics can be questioned. It's not the same when you can't run, twist and turn without fear of ripping or tearing plus strength and balance loss was another factor to not being able play to the standard I expected of myself. Unfortunately we are not on a position to be able to risk re injuring because I simply couldn't risk another 6-16 weeks off work

Raya Nyambe Mulgrew. Lenihan. Bell Bennett. Rothwell Palmer. Dack. Armstrong Graham Be interesting to see brereton play more. He could play instead of Palmer then bring Palmer on and push him up front for Graham. Can't judge until I've seen him play more but that would be my team for villa. Whilst Evans and Smallwood can offer the defensive side they offer no attacking threat or creativity. I think Bennett would tackle everything that moves and win the ball back. Rothwell equally puts a shift in but they are both capable of pinging long balls something you rarely see Evans or Smallwood do. Also it would allow Bennett to sit and rothwell to help in the attack. Bennett is wasted out wide.

It could be win win for everyone but sadly greed kills that possibility
