  1. I think your right. It is Sunday.? I'm so bad at maths it frightening
  2. Bit extreme moving world cup for rovers but understandable
  3. Missing the kids game at clitheroe to watch england. If England get to the final anyone still going to Port vale. Choices choices
  4. Sweden beat England and then lose to Croatia who, in turn, lose to this year's World Cup winners, Belgium. How's that? I think that is the only possible outcome other than mine but I still think I'm right. ?
  5. Rumour doing the rounds Martinez is to take the Spain Job after the tournament
  6. England beat Sweden , Croatia beat Russia, France beat Belgium, Croatia beat England , France win the world cup. You heard it here first. Feel free to quote me next Sunday ?
  7. The amount of people who have said I don't watch England there shite etc etc all through qualification usually armchair united and Liverpool fans have come out in force since the Colombia result. The same ones that where out in force for the champions league final and fa cup but didn't bother with the earlier rounds. I think there is more than one way to support a club and they get there enjoyment out football differently to us. They use it as a social thing to have a pint without investing into the club. Rovers to me is like a family member. Will always be there through good and bad and love it. Couldn't be with out it. They can't understand traveling to Ipswich on a Tuesday night and going straight work. They think I'm mental.they don't understand it and I don't understand how you can scream at the tv with such passion in a final and then not bother watching your team against Brighton the week after. Suppose it would be boring if we where all the same.
  8. Apparently goalkeepers are trained to do something called a power push which requires taking one step forward to then push off the leg. They stand behind the goal to use this technique so they aren't in front of the line before the ball is kicked but can still generate the power to cover the goal
  9. Pickford , Maguire, stones, Henderson , Kane. Is that a spine I'm seeing develop to go with hunger, desire, an identity and belief. Unless they get completely embarrassed ala Brazil v Germany then from this point they deserve nothing but praise and proper welcome home. Well done lads your doing us proud
  10. Every time I saw him play for our youth team I new he was good enough for the first team. Couldn't believe he didn't break through. Wharton isn't as good but he is good enough to be getting first team chances
  11. Are they playing anyone over there like they did with Sparta Prague last season
  12. He will be fitter , faster, stronger from working with a PT. His Instagram and twiiter pictures will look better for his female fans which is no use if you can't control the ball, shoot and spend the rest of the winter on the bench. If he improves his finishing and control he will be a top player in this league. You can be as fit as you want if he can't improve on his footballing weaknesses he is no use to us going forward
  13. Bobby Reid is a terrible buy for a premiership club.
  14. May aswell chip in with a boss I had named ronald McDonald who worked in Subway and Mike hunt who was exactly that as a boss at barclays
  15. I think Ben woodburn from Liverpool would be an excellent loan signing.
  16. Martin O'Neill is not far behind him. Absolute stone wall penalty for Sweden. Can't believe that hasn't been referred
  17. I'm highly doubtful anyone is going to back you up on this
  18. a period explains the fluctuating moods on here .
  19. Small boys in the park ! Jumpers for goalposts ! What's the score 96-4 ! Marvelous
  20. That is a possibility and probably the only likely scenario. Fingers crossed.
  21. I think the Armstrong ship has sailed. I never thought we could afford him and nothing suggests otherwise. We need Chapman in and the equivalent on the other side and a nippy striker that knows where the net is. They are necessities. Any improvements or squad depth after that is welcome but the above has to be priority. Shame about Armstrong he would be ideal.
  22. He's not slow but his pace never stood out as an asset
