I would always go to home and away matches over watching it on tv. However work and finances doesn't always allow, hence the reason I am not a season ticket holder. The red button has been a dream for me allowing me to pick a game that isn't on TV to go to and watch on the red button a different game so I don't miss watching my team, something I would have to previously do. Whilst I think it's brilliant for fans I also appreciate not all fans are like me and would, even with a season ticket, choose to stay at home on a cold wet Wednesday night. It's a difficult one because whilst I am over the moon to be able to watch games I would have had to miss it will no doubt affect ticket sales and attendences. The game has changed and is constantly evolving. Hopefully for the better, so fans who live all over, fans who have young families and limited income and work commitments can still follow and be apart of the rovers with out being noticably detrimental to season ticket sales and atmosphere. I suppose time will tell how much football has improved for the overall fanbase or how damaging to the game it has become

Are you really telling me not take things so seriously and then correcting spelling. It was just a response to your post nothing serious about it. Just conversation

Maybe so but it doesn't divert away from the point I was making which is Sam Hart isnt good enough to play for rovers and anyone who has seen him play isn't jumping to his defense

Burnley pub renamed after Sean Dyche

I took my daughter watching rovers and Chelsea at leyland. She's four. She wouldn't sit on a red seat and made me find two white ones together. Her teacher pulled me in because she wouldn't even use red crayons in nursery ? -

I thought I'd wrote that, exactly how I feel. I hate united on vinjay levels. It came naturally. I learned to hate burnley equally but I've never met an actual Burnley fan to talk to. I'm surrounded by red armchair glory hunting smug arseholes and there slight demise has been very enjoyable. Sadly it coincided with ours as I get reminded of every day. -
Fair both in same bracket for me

Honestly pal. In 26 years of watching rovers at all levels I can't remember a player so out of his depth. He will never wear a Rovers shirt again because he is not good enough.

And the players you play with

Match Thread ROVERS vs Lincoln

Never heard it be announced or the attendance for that matter. Conway, nyambe and Travis where the three that stood out. Tough call , all three were top draw. Ok he scored I can't take that away from him nor would I want to. I truly believe that is his level and after leaving here and warming another bench lower down the league that's where he will find his level. His own self doubt was evident last night. He is a very poor player imo. I guess only time will tell the level he ends up playing. -

Well I enjoyed that. Wasn't the Lincoln team I was expecting but as the saying goes, can only beat what is in front of you. I was struggling to decide a man of the match. Conway put alot of effort in and lead by captains example, nyambe was excellent. He has become Mr consistent this season. He covered well and won everything but step forward Lewis Travis. He was absolutely fantastic today. What an engine that boys got . Never stopped running, he's dogged and aggressive (in the right way, bar Portsmouth) and wins tackles, drives forward and got an assist. Superb performance from him. Downing was steady as was young Grayson who had a comfortable night and was never put under any real pressure but did his job simply and well. Bell put another good performance in particularly going forward. Caddis was sloppy in the first half , giving the ball away far to many times but had a very good second half. Palmer is a funny one I think I'm going to love and hate in equal measure. He's like the roughest diamond I have seen. There Is genuinely a top class premier league talent in their. He delights and frustrates in equal measure. Top class free kick and has improved since the very start of the season so hopefully his positives will outweigh the over playing and defensive naivety. Graham did what Graham does and took his goal well, solid performance. And finally. Butterworth was awesome when he came on. Enthusiasm, confidence, drive, determination, link up play. What a cameo that was. He's an exciting prospect and everything that nuttall isn't. He is appalling. Apart from that awful header he missed it's everything else with him. He doesn't look like he believes in himself. There is no spark to his play contrast that to Butterworths performance, that's what nuttall should be all about, especially when he is on the bench trying to get in the team. Nuttall has shown time and again he isn't up to it. Ship him off to non league where he belongs. Give Butterworth his place on the bench. I saw more in 15 minutes out that lad than I have ever seen from nuttall at any level whether it be first team or youth. I agree with the people saying there is a buzz around ewood. I feel like when Dunn, Jansen, Duff and co where playing like something is building. Belief , momentum and that black cloud that has hung over ewood is finally heading back over towards turd more. Well done Tony . Onwards and upwards -

From the few games I have watched of Lincoln. They always play positive, attacking football. They took a few scalps last season and played with confidence. They have had a great start to the season so that confidence will still be there. We are playing a new system and formation with a back 3/5 that have never played together. I think we're in for a hard night. I don't blame Tony. I would love to progress and I always take all cups serious but I don't really know what else he could have done tonight regarding line up. Let's just enjoy watching a few of the young lads and hope for the best. Hopefully make for an entertaining game COYB -

Tbf Rodwell has only just walked through the door. I personally am already dubious about his signing so if he started tonight in that weak team and played poorly it wouldn't do his motivation or confidence any good. People would straight away start questioning him and righting him off. He needs a few games in the u23s first and take it from there. We could build his career back and have a solid player on our hands. Equally players as mentally fragile as he appears could be ruined and finished. Tony knows what he's doing and that's why I wouldn't personally play him -

Wouldn't Shearer's goals be a division higher just to be pedantic ☺️
-
If doomsday arrives We should be valuing him at whatever price grealish goes for especially when he has scored more and created more in arguably a weaker team come January/summer.

I posted half an hour before kick off against York that the line up that played that day wouldn't score if they played until Xmas. ... We won 8-0 I thought Danny Murphy and Peter whittingham would be superb signings By November last year I wanted graham out the club, nyambe out on loan and mowbrary spending Saturday afternoons telling his grandkids about the good old days. I thought Adam Henley would be playing premier league football by now.
