  1. Adam reach with another worldie
  2. The biggest problem is Evans and Smallwood's inability to link the attack. Defensivly I don't see to many issues with them. We just need that bit more in the middle and it would really transform this team
  3. Willams playing well so far. I like him as a centre back. Looks more comfortable playing there
  4. Never seen him play there so can't comment just saying what is happening
  5. I can see that happening pretty soon. Perfect fit Imo
  6. Starting 11 and bench both look good. In the long term I would like more quality than Evans and Smallwood in the middle but the building blocks are in place. Keep that squad together and replace one or two with some starting 11 quality and next season we could really push for promotion, although stranger things have happened and poorer squads than that have gone up in the past ( Cardiff, Huddersfield, cough Burnley) so a win tonight and I may start to get unnecessarily giddy. I love watching the rovers again COYB
  7. Conceding so many late goals is one reason.
  8. Bloody villa just cost me 450 quid ?
  9. There's alot of excellent points been made and debate had. Up until this season I think the club has been reasonable and fair regarding tickets and prices but this season, the red button is a game changer and they really need to re evaluate the whole price structure starting by scrapping the walk on add on which is scandalous. With the red button option it is effectively a new age and we don't want to lose the next generation of fans who will grow up with virtually every game on their tvs, something the majority of us had never dreamed of when we started out watching rovers. We had to go if we wanted to see our beloved blue and white heroes. For the next generation it will be the norm to press the red button and watch at home. Over the next season or two something radical needs to be done to get people through the gates. I don't have the answers but there have been some great suggestions and waggott really needs to start to act or risk ever dwindling gates as the red button generation stay away. I, and a few others have already shown it's impacting our decisions to attend. Games like Swansea I would have gone to I will now save the money for Xmas presents as money is tight and work both days. I'm sure there will be other games where I can prioritise my finances when needed. I want to attend all games home and away but times are hard and this red button has eased a financial burden. Others have expressed similar views and as winter draws in and heaven forbid performances levels drop off the red button will become the viable option for many. Next season dramatic changes have to be made as the clubs tv revenue increases. In this new era it's time to repay generations of loyalty and support
  10. I think that's what will happen
  11. Alan judge got ten minutes for brentford. Tom Lawrence got half an hour to try and salvage something at Bolton and mou Barrow played 70 minutes in readings 2-2 draw. Todd kane got a full 90 in a very respectable 1-1 draw against boro. Jack o.connell did the full 90 in a 3-2 win at millwall where tunnicliffe didn't get off the bench. Matt Grimes started and ollson came off the bench in a 3-0 win at home against qpr with Baptiste in the qpr defense.
  12. Rodwell is the answer
  13. I thought Spurs had some really exciting attacking players but they seemed to be playing for themselves and not the team, Paris maghoma being the epitome of this.
  14. Whilst I'm happy with the players that came in I do believe it could have been spent more wisely
  15. I fancy a win today and backed us on the coupon something I don't usually do. Come on rovers don't let me down. 2-0 Graham and dack
  16. It's a fair point but surly that would be the players call. Maybe behind closed doors that's what Jack's said but I find it doubtful. If he didn't want to play he could have retired. He didn't, he chose to sign for rovers. If he's playing and playing well what better way to build your confidence than keep playing. At least be on the bench and feel like your around the squad and part of it. I've learned I know the square root of f all about most things posting on here and im Sure Tony has his reasons , it's just doesn't make sense lookimg from the outside looking in
  17. Two seasons back I paid £42 for a third round league cup game on a Tuesday night. Appalling
  18. Rio Ferdinand was brilliant at doing that from the defense . I really don't understand all this won't be considered. Surly if your fit and playing well you should be considered for selection. How demoralizing must that be to a player, especially when they have played well. How can you build confidence, momentum and form if you get dropped and not even considered for the bench after playing well. I've never seen or heard any other manager in my lifetime have that attitude.
  19. Agreed. I really have been impressed with him. Time to get him some games and see if he sustains them levels or someone else would be more than happy to take him off our hands
  20. And neither is brereton or Palmer
  21. We have lacked depth which we have Addressed. Hopefully over the next few windows we can start to sprinkle Abit of quality and bring one or two in to go straight into the first 11 why the younger lads mature into decent championship players. I think that's what Tony's thinking is. Hopefully we can hold onto the likes of dack whilst this rebuilding is under way as if the best keep getting cherry picked it's one step forward to steps back.
  22. He reads the game well, has a good range of passing, can tackle and is very composed on the ball. I really like the look of him. All the attributes are there I guess it's up to him on how bad he wants to succeed
  23. After seeing brereton last night I never want to see him anywhere near the wing again. He looked like he was blowing out his arse after half an hour , maybe why Tony hasn't started him yet, and left nyambe exposed. He doesn't look sharp or match fit. He switched wings towards the end of the first half I can only assume so Tony could instruct him what to do. Positionally he was all over the place. Its early days but signs so far a not good. I'd like to see him in his natural position and hopefully see what the forest fans saw Because he certainly isn't a winger. He was very poor last night Imo. Nymabe however just gets better and better. Another superb display from him and raya, bar the odd kick was superb. Rodwell looked class and can't knock anyone else as the effort and desire was unquestionable. Williams looks more comfortable at centre back and had a good game until his brain fart at the end, and tbf did the right thing after he cocked it up by handling it Bad way to lose a game we fought hard to win. Never mind. That's life.
