With a centre mid at right back , a centre mid at cb two strikers on the wing, a winger at centre mid, a league one clogger as your main centre mid and a bench full of fit lads watching the same 11 try and keep up levels of intensity after playing Saturday and a long trip to Wales I just can't think why we lost -

This isn't due to anything brereton has done and he hasn't had long to prove anything so not a dig but when you have watched football for a long time sometimes you just get a feeling based on very little and I just have one with brereton that he isn't going to be the player we all hoped for. Something about him just doesn't feel right. Hope I'm wrong -

Swansea throwing fancy flicks around like it's a copa90 documentary -
If Graham got injured tonight I think he would still leave brereton out and put Armstrong up top

Think I will have Abit of that. And dack anytime 1-2. Hes due Might even put brereton last goal to Nick it ? -
Just seen it's 12 kick off at brockhall village. Never been there. Has anyone got a postcode as am off Wednesday so will go down .is it free or pay on the door ?
-
Where is this being played

You can read into that in one of two ways. I don't know if I'm old school or niave but "acclimatise to effort". Since when was effort an option, especially to a a fit young 19 year old who you would think would be busting a gut to get a start.

What meeting and when is it when any fans go and ask questions. I went to one with Gary bowyer, Mike cheston and Alan myers and radio lancs where there. Is there one of them with Tony due ?

I can't help thinking firstly it bs. Secondly if there is a whiff of Truth in it that the jump is to big at this stage. He wouldnt get anywhere near that Spurs team and that's before he finds the bright lights of London. I think if he wasn't going up with us or say a newly relegated team then a Newcastle, brighton, palace , West Ham would be the next step otherwise he risks obscurity

I was going to write something similar..it would have made far more sense to pad the squad out or add two or three starters this season and then start to add potential and luxury. We should have signed a proper striker, a proper winger, a proper centre back and an experienced back up keeper. Then with a solid foundation add the likes of brereton and players of that ilk to grow and push the first 11. Then nuttall, Travis, Fisher could go on loan and gain the experience they desperately need. This has nothing to do with breretons abiltiy but yet again at rovers even when it's positive news it leaves more questions than answers.

I think it depends which league Southampton are in next season. If they go down , which is unlikely, they would probably keep him. If they stay up and at 24 you would like to think he would be angling for a move. His versatility and performances could see alot of clubs looking at him. The lads a very good player at this level and it won't be going unnoticed

When at the ground he gets my full support. He may come good, he may not. Time will tell. I watched sessegnon at 18 years old playing premiership football yesterday as he has all season. Rooney played at 16, Wickham at 15. If he's good enough he would be starting. Going off what I have seen from him and Graham , ben has no chance of taking Danny's shirt anytime soon. The baffling thing about all this is why isn't he playing upfront when he comes on. The only way to get match fit is to play. The only way to build confidence and learn your role is to play in the position you where bought for and is your best position. I've seen , as other rovers fans and nearly all forest fans have that he isn't a winger. So until he plays up top and starts scoring the same questions will be asked over and over. It's ok saying we have bought potential it's how he is being managed that's baffling me. I'm sure Tony has a master plan and I will look stupid down the line but I just can't work out why he spent so much on a player that doesn't start or play in the position he was bought for, what is he protecting him from , what does he have to learn to get a start and how can he learn if he never plays in his best position

People can debate rothwell starting, Bennett's best position, what is ben brereton, Williams or bell etc but opinions stop here and as a matter of fact Rodwell has to start ahead of Smallwood from this day forward. The king is dead, long live the king
-
Ah the dreaded training ground vote of confidence. That can be filed in the brockhall of Fame with Ben "Lionel" glad win and Myles " that tackle" anderson
-
Well that's good. Abit more confident now I know that.
-
It wouldn't matter if he had. He's represented England at senior level . His bed has been made. Rodwell international days are over.
-
I wouldn't. But if the deal happens Burke would be an excellent swap with money to strengthen elsewhere. If it has to happen I'd be doing everything to get Burke come the other way

Seen Abit of Leeds this season and have been impressed. Played some positive exciting football. I know most people hate Leeds but I've always had a soft spot for them. I had the yellow and blue kit with thistle on when I was a kid because I really liked it before i understood the error of my ways. I grew up watching old Leeds videos of Chapman, Strachan, McAllister and later enjoyed watching Smith, bowyer, kewell. Really exciting side. As for today I think you will Nick it but it will be the hardest three points you have fought for all season. On our day we are very hard to break down. With nyambe and mulgrew out you will probably have to much for us. 1-2 Leeds. Hope I'm wrong

Whilst it's exciting, player development from 11 to 16 is massive. Whilst the experience can only do him good and he obviously has an abundance of talent you have to ask yourselves why Liverpool haven't tied him down or one of the bigger clubs haven't signed him after he left Liverpool. If he's as good as people make out then he could be worth 100 million in a few years. Look at dele alli for example. I find it hard to believe Liverpool would let him slip out there hands or a united city etc haven't offered him the earth. Have rovers pulled off the coup of the century or has his development stagnated as so many do. Does anyone know the reason he left Liverpool ?

What happened to that. Didn't niasse at everton get one last year that was considered harsh and then nothing happened since.
