I’d try something abit different and go Leo brittain. Carter. Hyam. Pickering Hill. Tronstad JRC. Moran. Smodiczs Ennis I’d tell the cms to protect the back four like your life depends on it and get the ball forward quickly to the front four . Equallly Travis could play for tronstad and siggy can come off the bench for Ennis at 60 and push smodicz up top so your not overloading them after injuries and smodicz will help defended our lead from the front -

I was thinking the same. Brittain needs to rb, we all saw what JRC was capable of at the back end of last season. The game away at QPR springs to mind funnily as we play them next. I’d try JRC on the right of the three behind the strikers. He has a bit of skill and bite about him, he could beat a man , can create chances aswell as being reliable for defensive duties. He started his career in that position, I think it’s time he got a chance to show what he can do further up the pitch. Might aswell try something different seeing as where not blessed with many other options -

I’d be delighted if the Saudis would have taken over here and done for us what they have done for Newcastle. The whole world is filled with injustice and corruption in almost every aspect of life . You don’t become a billionaire by being legit. It doesn’t and won’t change anything so may aswell win a champions league and enjoy the bragging rights. At least we can all be moral I suppose and just have owners who send death threats and beat people and not actually murder. So I guess championship football is miles better and we can all be morally superior. My point is the vast majority will be dodgy scumbags in some way or another . The regime in Saudi won’t change so why should a bloke whose been a Newcastle fan all his life not enjoy the success and wonderful football guilt free -

Nothing wrong with Morans goal . Coventry never had the ball on their own pitch but yet again we are blunt up top . It’s going to be the story of our season . We all new we needed a proven goalscorer and it’s showing badly now why we all said we needed one -

Dolan has played well so far. If we could just get Ennis on to be on the end of those crosses we’d be laughing -

I was a mix of both , I always played injured or not but I’d spend half an hour before the game moaning telling everyone about my injuries 😂 -

How do you know this. Are they on sale ? -
The website is all over the show. The games on the fixtures are on the wrong days, the team where playing club badge is Chelsea when we’re playing nice. It’s like a child is doing it

Maybe swag should F off to Plymouth and use the only expertise he has

I fancy us to have a blinder here and win comfortably based on my poor memory and inability to learn from my mistakes 3-2 rovers with a hatful of missed chances for the real blues . A clinical first half hour will see us out of sight 💪 -

Anything is worth a try at this point but we have seen before travis can’t take the ball on the half turn and doesn’t have that beautiful pass to get us truly on the front foot. That’s the one quality that sets Adam apart from the rest -
Blackburn End: Waggott Out
Oldgregg86 replied to BlueBro's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
I know the venkys and protests have been done to death with most including myself agreeing it’s a pretty futile exercise currently but how bad would things have to get or what would be a turning point to get them started back up where the fans actually might come together and give it a united effort. I’ve found when other clubs protest the vast majority of fans are behind the protests. Rovers fans have always been split 50/50ish . Will there be a point where we all get behind them and what will be the breaking point to get us all to stand together -
I thought rangers where the far better team in the game against Celtic they just couldn’t score for toffee, abit like us

You’re right from a black and white perspective. That persons chooses to put the addictive substance in their body and chooses to continue to do so. There is a grey area of why people do that and then trying to stop when it has a physical hold of you . I had a friend die from quitting and going cold turkey, it’s not as easy as just stopping and the reasons people start are horrifying when you spend time with them and usually from a young age the addiction already has you -
We are going down (the pessimism thread)
Oldgregg86 replied to simongarnerisgod's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
A lot of people saying we won’t go down, which I agree with. However some key and long term injuries would change that pretty rapidly -

Having suffered and continue to suffer with addiction I get both sides. Ultimately it’s only the person with the addiction that can stop it and they have to take responsibility for it . However when your mental health is suffering, your moods is low due to chemical imbalances and traumas arise in your life it’s not easy to make the right choices , sometimes you want to numb the pain and consequence when your so low around your choice to drink/smoke/so drugs takes a back seat for a moments respite -

He’s doing what he’s been told to do , develop kids for profit. Packing the midfield might gets us a few extra points but it won’t progress the players . Only people to blame are in india -
v Leicester City (h) - 01/10/23
Oldgregg86 replied to speeeeeeedie's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Exactly the first team picks itself with no option to change tha game with what’s on the bench, we’ve no height for set pieces or hold up play, no strength to go toe to toe and no experience to see games out . We are a development club full of kids hoping to avoid relegation and JDT is doing just that. Developing kids . That’s what swag wants presumably from the owners requests so what can JDT do. His hands arnt tied they’ve been cut off -
