From what I’ve been told and I’ve been wrong many times so please don’t take me as gospel it’s season ticket holders with an 1875 membership and so many away ticket stubs . I have a season ticket and 1875 membership I’ve been to three away games up to now and I don’t know if I’m eligible for one. No one will convince me otherwise that Buckley isnt one of our most naturally gifted players . I really thought he would be one of the players to thrive under JDT but it simply hasn’t worked and he has underwhelmed when he has played. I’d rather he played than Morton and continue to develop but we all know these loan agreements mean game time for other teams players. I really hope that JDT finds a way to play to John’s strengths and doesn’t isolate him and equally hope John kicks on and improves from last year . Maybe I’m biased as I’ve been saying he should play first team for years and saying he will improve when he struggled for a long time in the first team but in my eyes he has everything but body size, strength and consistency. I hope Morton doesn’t develop for Liverpool at the expense of John for us . He’s in bad form but I truly believe he will come good. I know he’s been poor this season for many reasons but anyone who can’t spot or denies his talent makes me wonder what they are watching

I think we will beat Sunderland and beat or draw with brum before going on a losing streak til the World Cup break leaving us all in the same are we a good side improving or a bad side riding our luck. I think four games after the World Cup is the time to really judge and start to expect better and at least see shoots of what he promised , a little consistency or bare minimum good exciting performances. That’s when I expect to see a game plan, relatively settled team and games that create chances and a goal threat. I don’t expect miracles but by then i expect to see progress in his style of play and shoots of exciting football regardless of results with a relatively settled 11 and bench. Until then I really hope we stuff Sunderland and can get something from the dingle game . COYB

I’m surprised Scott twine hasn’t been one of the championship standout players . I genuinely thought he would be and was gutted that lot signed him. Sadly I can’t see a world where Burnley don’t finish in the play offs

It’s a strange one with villa Didnt see the game but checked the line ups and followed the score On paper that villa 11 what lined up today is a very good 11 and imo they are massively under achieving with the players and resources that have at there disposal. Gerrard needs to up find away to get a lot more out of this squad. Forest got up playing a certain way with a smaller squad. How the manager is supposed to bed in 20 odd players , keep others happy and get them all learning his tactic, system and the way he plays in a very difficult league is going to be difficult. I can’t see it clicking in time for them to be safe.

Listened to a podcast this afternoon with Dion Dublin on . He said that Coventry chairman had agreed a 6.7 million fee with rovers and was trying to force him to come but he point blank refused to even come and meet us. He ended up at villa not long later for For £5.7 million

From what I remember about the infamous Crewe game it wasn’t that it was bad it was frustrating. Now I was about 11 when I watched this so could be way off but I remember us having chance after chance after chance but it not going in and then doing is with a sucker punch with there goalkeeper being outstanding. Definitely most infuriating but not one of the worst for entertainment when contrasted with the Cardiff game the other night for example
