  2. Excellent stuff @Miller11
  3. The Jam - The Modern World
  4. The Associates - Party Fears Two
  5. You missed at least two wonderful goals. Admittedly the second half was rather dreary but if Gogglebox is your thing then fair do’s, lap it up mate.
  6. They Might Be Giants - Birdhouse In Your Soul
  7. Yeah they did - would it have been Aldridge and Hamilton up front?
  8. Probably when Sam got the gig
  9. The game was played in the knowledge that the prize was a home game against United as the draw had already been made. I was at that game - A few of us finished work at lunchtime and we drove down. It was a brilliant atmosphere in the away end. We seemed to play Oxford about 6 times that season!
  10. Squeeze - Some Americans
  11. Neil Young and Crazy Horse - Cinnamon Girl
  12. No mate you were still correct, Wimbledon DID share with Palace (just not at the same time Charlton did 😉)
  13. They used both Palace and West Ham’s grounds over a six year period.
  14. These didn’t last well lads 😉🍻
  15. What is it with England playing in blue at Wembley FFS?
  16. Ye cannae have Star again mate 😉
  17. Paul Weller - One Bright Star
  18. RIP Ron Flowers, Wolves legend and another member of England’s 1966 World Cup winning squad, who has passed away at the age of 87.
  19. Dave Clark Five - Glad All Over Actually fuck that - Catch Us If You Can
  20. The one thing Steve Gerrard did do at Rangers was tighten up what was previously a very leaky defence. His coach Micheal Beale was instrumental in that as I understand it. He has also gone to Villa so it will be interesting to see how that management/coaching team gets on in the prem.
  21. RIP Gerald Sinstadt, who has passed away at the grand old age of 91. The voice of football on Granada when I was growing up, particularly The Big Match on Sunday afternoons.
  22. I don’t know how true this is but someone told me he had come over for a funeral or memorial of some sort?
  23. The Smiths - The Boy With the Thorn In His Side
  24. Surely this isn’t a factor?
