  1. Rovers passed it around well at Celtic Park but we didn't really create anything of note despite the possession. Celtic did a number on us in the second leg, sitting Chris Sutton on Tugay was a masterstroke by O'Neill.
  2. It makes perfect sense actually, in La La Land. As someone else has posted, it would be just like the Vs to sack Mowbray two days before the start of the new season.
  3. As I've posted before, my take on it is that they (Pasha, not Waggott) had someone lined up to take over but it fell through. Many people within the club were convinced that change was afoot. The taps definitely got switched off in April so I still think something is going to happen. But I agree that the longer we hear nowt, the less likely it is that TM will be gone before the start of the new season.
  4. I’m a Rovers fan pal so I don’t really give a fuck tbh
  5. Sorry but you’re miles out here. I think Rangers once held the record for most supporters clubs in the world (maybe still do hold it). And who are the ‘English big 6’ exactly?
  6. Of the two I lean towards Celtic but both sets of supporters are as bad as each other. Ask anyone who policed the Rovers v Celtic game in 2002. Edit. Gav beat me to it
  7. I’m going to assume you are relatively young, because anyone over the age of about 40 would know that you are wrong in just about any measurement of what constitutes a big club. Possibly apart from money, but as InvernessRover so eloquently stated, that’s a self propelling situation and a matter of lucky geography. Arsenal a bigger club than Celtic? Even Ian Wright, as big an Arsenal cheerleader as you will come across, couldn’t believe what he found when he signed for the Hoops. Why do you think the premier league clubs were so against the idea of Rangers and Celtic joining it a few years back?
  8. Celtic pissed on Rovers' chips though didn't they? I had to go into an office full of Celtic fans the next day at work as well!
  9. A lot of people still don't realise just how massive Celtic and Rangers actually are. You can understand why their fans get annoyed at players signing for the likes of Bournemouth etc above an old firm team. Celtic have much more right to be in any European elite league than Spurs or Arsenal.
  10. The Supernaturals - Motorcycle Parts (very Lennon-esque this one)
  11. Obviously it is a matter of opinion (as you say) but I think your first sentence is pretty harsh, to be honest. I do think you make a fair point in your second paragraph though. The Trust perhaps should be directly offering to help Venkys engage with supporters. I have volunteered to help The Trust going forward and I did get sight of the first draft of this letter and made some suggested changes, many of which were taken on board. This isn't necessarily aimed at you bringdunnback but its too easy sometimes to simply criticise from the sidelines when it is basically one or two people constantly trying to be all things in relation to the Trust. They need our support. The Trust is about to attempt to re-energise itself and reconnect with the broader Rovers fan base and so I would encourage as many Rovers fans as possible to join in and subscribe - the annual cost is the same as watching just one game on the EFL iFollow channel.
  12. I'll give you a clue, it begins with the letter V
  13. The Jam - To Be Someone (Didn't We Have a Nice Time)
  14. They are. I can categorically assure you of that my friend.
