  1. Now 2-2 with Davenport (I think) scoring both our goals. Last 3 or 4 minutes
  2. We shall see Gav. I know one thing, we are a much, much better team with Stokes in it.
  3. I wouldn’t bet on that TS. Quite apart from the lift it will give his teammates he has history against the Aussies and they would definitely prefer him to be absent. Much is going to come down to our openers (batters and bowlers). If we can get a tune or two out of a couple of them we should be ok. The Aussies aren’t exactly in great nick either from what I can see.
  4. It is indeed. He’s a game changer and if nothing else it should at least be competitive now.
  5. Paul Weller - Time Passes
  6. Third World - Now That We Found Love
  7. We’ll probably just need to agree to disagree but by any measurement other than TV money Rangers is a huge club, and I say that as a bloke who’s sons are season ticket holders at Celtic Park. I’m not sure what the distinction between ‘huge’ and ‘big’ is anyway? And just to reiterate my response was very specifically to Chaddy and the two clubs he mentioned and not a general premier league v Scottish premiership debate. Money aside if I were a professional footballer would I rather play at Ibrox in front of 50k passionate fans or an 11k capacity Dean Court?
  8. Bournemouth and Brentford were the two teams in question to be fair - it wasn’t a “why would you choose Rangers over the premier league” question. Despite the fact that Brentford are having a good start to their premier league campaign neither they or Bournemouth should be more attractive to a footballer than a huge club like Rangers. Aston Villa or some such club then fair enough.
  9. Neither Bournemouth nor Brentford can guarantee premier league football. Rangers on the other hand can guarantee playing in front of 50k passionate fans every other week and European football.
  10. Why on earth would anyone choose either of those two above Rangers?
  11. Pretty decent start for England in the T20 World Cup. West Indies struggling to get much more than 50 or 60 here.
  12. I think that was Rick Grogan
  13. Mike is a really good guy, our kid speaks very highly of him Tony. Looking forward to reading this.
  14. The Creation - Cool Jerk
  15. I can already see the headline when Knutsen finally gets a bigger job and leaves his current club: KNUTSEN BOLTS I’ll get me coat…..
  16. General Public - Hot You’re Cool
  17. Take a bow 😂😂😂
  18. Arma is going to notch on Saturday for sure. Hopefully a 96th minute winner.
  19. Totally agree in respect of the choice of next manager. I can’t believe nobody has come in for Knutsen.
  20. The Pretenders - Back On the Chain Gang
  21. Billy Joel - Uptown Girl
  22. I think when supporters of the team that just won a game make statements to the effect of “Your tactics and your manager’s pre and post match statements were a disgrace and you got what you deserved with his attitude but as fans you should be up in arms” it tells us a lot. Bigging up QPR in the way that he did (he pretty much did the same with Coventry at the weekend and has done on countless previous occasions) should be put to him in no uncertain terms by the local journalists. I know a couple of them do use/watch this forum so chaps; Ask him why he thought Blackburn Rovers were so inferior to mid table-mediocre-worst defence in the league - Queens Park Fucking Rangers before a ball was even kicked and whether he thinks that view might have had any impact on his players’ mental fortitude in respect of getting a result. Time to go Tony.
  23. I don’t disagree with the gist of your post but if Bowyer wasn’t an external appointment then neither was K**n.
