The one thing Steve Gerrard did do at Rangers was tighten up what was previously a very leaky defence. His coach Micheal Beale was instrumental in that as I understand it. He has also gone to Villa so it will be interesting to see how that management/coaching team gets on in the prem.

Annesley got to meet Paul Weller and his band at the club yesterday but he probably doesn’t realise how lucky he was to be in the right place at the right time 😉

The thing is mate he doesn’t need another 20 years in the game if he’s motivated by money. These guys are rolling in it and don’t really need to work for any great length of time at all (compared to the rest of us).
