  1. XTC - Towers of London
  2. I remember the Ewood Express getting turned back at Crewe on the way to Eastville in the early 70s as word had got through that the pitch was waterlogged. Years later they laid on a train for Rovers fans for the FA Cup semi final at the Millennium Stadium, it left from Manchester Piccaddilly at silly o'clock in the morning.
  3. Was that the 'v-sign' one Tony? Blimey I remember them.
  4. I reckon it was Brentford away. Then we got sussed out and have been rotten ever since, despite winning/scabbing a few games.
  5. I remember that Tony. I'm pretty sure I travelled to Notts County in an end-of-season 0-0 draw as a member of RATC.
  6. Paul Weller - On Sunset (Not bad for a 62 year old!)
  7. Was Not Was - Walk the Dinosaur
  8. Bad Company - Can't Get Enough
  9. I’m sure there are quite a few of us on here who know or knew your dad in that case mate.
  10. Jimmy Radcliffe - Long After Tonight Is All Over
  11. John Coltrane - A Love Supreme
  12. The Style Council - A Stone's Throw Away
  13. Esther Phillips - Home Is Where The Hatred Is Written by Gil Scott Heron
  14. Black Pumas - Colors
  15. General Public - Cry On Your Own Shoulder
  16. The Selecter - Missing Words
  17. The Stranglers - No More Heroes
  18. Matthew Jay - God Bless My Erica
  19. Traffic - No Face, No Name, No Number
  20. Funnily enough this league is so bonkers we will probably win 2 or 3 nil on Wed
  21. Not a great single to finish on I always thought. Malice would have been the best way to bow out. Anyway I digress... The BPA and David Byrne ft Dizzee Rascal - Toe Jam
  22. Nirvana - The Man Who Sold The World
  23. Bill Withers - Use Me
  24. I sold mine to a Jam memorabilia collector 25 years ago. Certainly not for £900 but it did end up in the book that accompanied the Jam box set anthology, which I was chuffed about. Same fella was behind the Jam exhibitions in London and Liverpool 5 or 6 years ago.
  25. All the pics are from December 1979 and I’m not in any of the after show pics although I did manage to make up for that when they returned in June 1980 thankfully. That ‘79 gig remains the best concert I have ever been to, and that includes Live Aid!
