  6. Don't recall Beasant scoring in the premier league? There have been others though: Paul Robinson, Tim Howard, Begovic (sp?), and Peter Schmeichel spring to mind
  7. Otis Redding - Chained and Bound
  8. Yozzer in the confessional box. "I'm desperate Father, desperate I am". "Please, call me Dan". "I'm desperate, Dan"
  9. Paul Weller - Moon On Your Pyjamas
  10. I was tempted to post 'What the World Needs Now' but thought better of it The Jam - Man In the Corner Shop
  11. An absolute classic. We watched Abigail's Party the other week, and then Just a Boy's Game. I had forgotten that Frankie Miller was in that!

  17. Mary Hopkin - Those Were the Days
  18. The Elgins - Heaven Must Have Sent You
  19. Brook Benton - Rainy Night in Georgia
  20. The Big Time. The guy was called Lol Cottrell, a decent amateur but well out of his depth. Tommy Smith took him under his wing for that programme as i recall.
  21. The Clash - Train In Vain
  22. He was always struggling after that. Johnson will be a worthy champion. Edit - even a first round 66 from Rory rather than a 75 would have only had him level with DJ so quite a dominant performance from the big man all round I would say.
  23. Me and my sons met Ray in Alcudia in 2003 and it was like chatting to an old pal talking to him about football. Lovely man and we also shared flights with John Robertson of Forest and Scotland on the same holiday and when we told Ray this he said “Please pass on my regards to him and his family if you’re on the same flight back”, which we were and we did. Sad day ?
