  1. You pick your best players, end of story, and Archer is certainly worthy of his place based on ability. It reminds me of when Kevin Pieterson first got picked ahead of Graham Thorpe for the test team a few years ago. That one worked out well. I agree with the Rashid/Ali comments though.
  2. Noonday Underground - Thunder Park (you may recognise the vocalist)
  3. That doesn’t usually stop them or Celtic from playing pre season friendlies. The date pencilled in was a Sunday, which shouldn’t impinge on Europa League qualifiers at all really.
  4. I know mate I saw that thread afterwards and realised. With this one I just found it amusing that they were "police officers on horses" then "just walked off as though nothing had happened" and I thought of a few defence solicitors who would have latched onto that in a nanosecond.
  5. Campbell didn't know what "murus pater vester vester" means? I'm surprised at that.
  6. Had to be done: The Jam - English Rose
  7. Were they on horses or were they on foot? I’m afraid it would have been a not guilty verdict in court based on your inconsistent and unreliable evidence. I’m surprised olddarwenblue didn’t call you out on that one. I am only teasing by the way.
  8. Amy Winehouse - Back to Black
  9. Bring it on. About time I got some support up here Mark ??
  10. Slade - Mama Weer All Crazee Now
  11. Paul Weller - Pink on White Walls. 24 years to the day since that album (Stanley Road) was released. The day after Rovers won the prem.
  12. Doris Day - Quo Sera Sera i’ll get me coat......
  13. You jinxed her! Her death has just been announced at the age of 97........
  14. The Jam - I've changed My Address
  15. The old ones are the best Tony heh heh
  16. Dexys Midnight Runners - Breaking Down the Walls of Heartache
  17. Exactly mate. Not to mention the coach loads from Accy, Rishton and Great Harwood (the latter were who did me over, five of 'em)
  18. Corrected for you mate ?
  19. Freddie Starr is 'dead' apparently, according to the BBC, although they have now changed their headline to "reportedly died" and removed the inverted commas, which were a bit weird. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-48222827 I can't get Curtis Mayfield out of my head now
  20. As someone above said, it was probably more likely to be the Red House or somewhere like that.
