I have the same feeling. We need that lad in the team, watch what the opposition do whenever he gets the ball (retreat), and despite being low in confidence he never hides and always shows for the ball. Went to see The Vapors last night in a tiny venue called The Bungalow in Paisley. An excellent live band. They are most famous for Turning Japanese in 1980 and their lead guitarist, Ed Bazalgette, has directed Poldark, Casualty, Doctor Who and Eastenders in his time. First saw them supporting The Jam at KGH in 1979, they were fabulous then and still are now. Well worth catching a show if they are playing anywhere near you!

I have a mate who shares this view. I can see the logic in it but can't agree with it. There would be far too many lucky penalties for me, plus you would get players deliberately trying to hit the arm of the defender rather than find a team mate. Any ref worth his or her salt should get most of the intentionality calls right.
