  1. Tronstad doesn’t deserve criticism for his collective performances to date but he was bloody awful Saturday. His touch was miles off it, continually tried to pass through gaps that weren’t there and got caught several times receiving the ball and trying to turn (into Colback) his normally brilliant awareness had deserted him Saturday. There were no doubt contributing factors in playing alongside Moran and trying to cover the huge gaps JRC was leaving when trying to do his Poundland Trent Alexander Arnold impressions. It was however Tronstands worst game in a rovers shirt by some margin
  2. I sit/stand toward the back of N05 and he looked to fairly angrily shout something at those stood in the bottom corner of N05. Dunno if he was pissed off/reacting to something as he’d wasted good crossing opportunity’s twice in succession and was rightly getting a bit of constructive criticism.
  3. Yeah, they’re all Standard docs that get filed easily and will be part of a package we have laid out. Rick here, sign here, etc. most of which get done by a secretary/staff while negotiations take place, especially on deadline day when time is tight. That is why this makes no sense, it’s not like we’d had several days to fill out the bulk of the paperwork ready to go
  4. The thing is the only form the EFL are arsed about is the players registration, something that could be draft filled the minute negotiations begin to take place. There is realistically no reason why this form would not be successfully successfully submitted on time for a player you were negotiating with for over 48 hours.
  5. The Facebook fans are unbelievable, beggars belief how accepting they are of everything.
  6. With the stream consciousness like coverage of football from every corner of the globe being fed through our phones each minute it’s very hard to get our plight out to the wider fan base. Venky’s being horrendous owners and cocking up/torpedoing transfers isn’t going to be on the top of most fans Instagram feed unfortunately. Even if there is a story on North West tonight of an evening, how many people actually watch it these days? We’re also one in a very long list of teams with terrible owners. Many of whom would argue their managed decline is worse than ours, as every fan is want to do. Crystal Palace moaning about getting thumped (whilst still comfortably in the PL, having spent big in Jan) and their fans giving the keeper pelters will generate far more news than us sadly.
  7. Buckley playing in the 21’s tomorrow isn’t he, assuming Fleck, MacFaz and Billy will be too?
  8. It’s the definition of naivety or stupidity depending on how you look at it. When your principles and patterns of play can be so easily picked apart by QPR (who are shite) then the obvious answer is the principles aren’t actually up to much. We honestly made Colback look like a world beater yesterday which is staggering.
  9. The most disappointing thing is that Chair isn’t that good, show him on to his left foot and he struggles. Yet we let him drop in and cut on to his right constantly. The shape was partly to blame as neither JRC nor Dolan got a grip of marking him or pressing effectively when he got the ball. Chrisene did a much better job on Willock in the first half although he did get trousered pace wise when Willock went off
  10. Getting relegated runs the risk of losing Cat 1 academy status too and vastly reduces our chances of producing whartons, etc
  11. Agreed and I think this is where we do need to have some nuance and separate the two issues of off field shit show and on field shit show. Whilst there is no denying the two have a link, our performance today was unacceptable regardless of anything else that’s going on. there was a point in the first half where JRC, hyam and Wharton stood, after Armstrong missed his 57th chance hands out looking at each saying “what do we do” they looked totally lost, which considering hyam, JRC and Scott have probably 200 championship appearances between is a pretty damping indictment of how we set up to play
  12. We’re just lucky that the way QPR lined up and Armstrong’s lack of sense he kept playing himself onto his own non existent left foot and Hyams right otherwise we’d have been in deep shit
  13. Laughable wasn’t it, twice in the first 10 they showed chair onto his left foot and he went nowhere immediately that success was followed up with showing him onto his right for the remaining 90 mins!
  14. For all of JDT’s bravery and honesty in calling out/alluding to the owners, Waggot, Suhail’s carrying on he repeatedly sets up a team that folds like a deck chair and for that he does need to be taken to task. It’s not like we’ve had an out of character bad game today following a tumultuous week. We’ve been dog shit since December playing football that an u9 team could read where the next pass is going. in some ways the disaster of the pitch is letting Jon off lightly for what an (avoidable) shit show we are on it
  15. Agreed, he also claimed a couple of low shot/crosses that Leo would have palmed out into the middle of the 6 yard box.
  16. JRC was bloody awful today, Szmodics was garbage first half and then spent the second doing some ‘show pressing’ i.e. wasting energy looking busy before seemingly spitting his dummy out and going off injured. S Wharton is an honest servant but by Christ how he’s made it to the championship being so one footed is beyond me. The amount of trouble we play ourselves into as he has to shift on to his left or play backward because he can’t play off his right is criminal.
  17. Strange how Ian Silvester who has been involved in correctly registering players here for years has all of a sudden forgotten how to do the paperwork. Presuming Waggot is involved in all transfers at previous clubs, he has presided over in excess of 100 transfers in his time as CEO at different clubs. How many of them were subject to appeal previously………
  18. But we’ve entered into a contract with Orlando to pay his wages presumably. The fact we can’t register matters not to them, they’d be well within their rights to demand we pay him until the end of the season you’d have thought
  19. No blame on JDT for the transfer debacle but by Christ he has to take some for the performance. We were truly awful, watching us play through the middle into the traps they’d set was comical. They opened a trick passing lane constantly inviting Tronstad (who was awful), Moran and JRC into trying to play through, as soon as they played the ball they stepped across and played in Armstrong or Chair constantly. It was laughable how predictable and pedestrian we were. About as much incision as a butter knife
  20. Looked like he threw a paddy, was visibly angry and looked like he aimed a verbal volley at N05.
  21. At what point does the behaviour of Waggot, Suhail etc become fraudulent. signing/agreeing and announcing players and what would seem purposeful form failure is a practise that would be open to legal challenge surely. Orlando and the player would be due damages you’d think
  22. If JDT is wanting to let rip then he handled the press conference issue really badly. Surely you kill them with kindness and then let rip when they’re not expecting it.
  23. You're missing out the key part of the sentence, "in the media". The nationals were hammering him after his first few games.
