Doesn't help if our two tall forwards are out on the wing with him leaving no one to cross to. -

Looks easier all round to just replace Mowbary. -

Exactly. Stop him from playing to his strengths, stop him being instinctive, stop him from exciting the crowd, make him play a game that is not his natural game. A la Travis. Trot out the Smallwood Evans line. It's what Mowbary does. -

Travis? I think not he is not as aggressive moving forwards as he was. Mowbary there. Nyambe's improved in spite of Mowbary. The lad has a fragile confidence and Mowbarys handling of him has done much to destroy his confidence. I mean come on the kid omays a blinder then is in explicably dropped for Elliot Bennett tell me that is not a slap in the face and a confidence killer. I would say the lad had personally took the bit between his teeth and said screw em. Yet Mowbary will still drop him for no apparent reason other than Elliot must be blowing him. -

So for overseas subscribers it is commentary only? -
I will reserve.full judgement till I see it in all it's splendor, on the players on the green pitch. Right now I like it fine, or am I just relieved it is halves and closer to the Royal blue I love so dearly. Works for me for now and I can only see me liking it more in it's natural environment.

Thanks I might watch if my subscription allows League Cup. -
It is a stupid stupid thing Mowbary does but what angers me most is he persists with it even after we all see it does not work. If you want a winger play a Chapman. Or buy a fecking winger, 12 million would have got us a couple of decent wingers. One(s) who might get actually crosses in for a tall centre forward. Mowbary needs gone, I like him, I enjoy to listen to him but he is never leading us any where but mid table comfort zone and just enough to keep his job. Let's move on and take advantage if some decent up and coming young lads before he destroys them.

We kinda do, one with mobility, can pick the odd killer pass and chip in with some goals, we don't have any midfielders like that. Haven't for some time.

Can't quite get me head round that. -
Any word on where this lad's immediate future lies?
-
I know we seem to be completely incompetent when it comes to doing transfer stuff. Late, missing targets, nit actually having any targets, I think just about every window has had a meh feel to it. Dack being the one standout.
-
What the hell he need a holiday for they just had a couple of months off. Stay at work and sign us a side we can be proud of. Then think about a holiday.
-
It's going to be another fruitless window as Mowbary aspires to mediocrity.
-
Looks good, seems to be able to spring from a stand still not like Waltont who always seems to need a step or two before diving. This has made him late to several goals he should have stopped.

JRC I like too. He us being played at fullback which if I understand correctly is not his preferred position. If you can imagine Mowbary would play players out of their strongest position.
-
What makes you think that Merc? Would bother me he is probably my favourite player.at.the moment.
-
Not bothered? To me The way I see it is he has actively DE-motivated players. Travis is one, a real ball of energy who burst on the scene, when he did he really excited me.with his win the ball and burst forward style of play. Mowbary promptly dropped him as soon as others were available. Travis upon his return was clearly a different player. Much more sideways and back. Brereton is another, obviously a lad with fragile confidence. Plays a blinder pre season and Mowbary promptly drops him for the kick off. Chasing a game and needing a goal Mowbary again rubs salt in the wounds by bringing on Buckley instead if him. At the re.start.with BCD, Ben plays a couple of his nest games only to be promptly dropped to make way for the donkey that is Samuel. He's done similar with Rothwell and Holtby. To continually pick players such as Bennett over others who are better, you don't think players know this what does that do to a player, to play a blinder and be unceremoniously be dropped next game kills confidence and promotes a why bother attitude. Get rid of him.
-
Said it before I will say it again we.are.not.getting promoted with Mowbary in charge. He has no intention of getting promotion. He will do enough to keep the owners happy. He us on a cushy number here and promotion would change that. I think it is time to give DJ a shot. I have a gut feel he could have this team playing well with a large contingent of our youth that he is familiar with. A team with a consistent line up, players in their strongest positions playing to their strengths with a single purpose. I really have a gut feel Damien could do netter for Blackburn Rovers than Mowbary has.
-
I think today we can put this play off malarky to bed huh? That way players can go on hols for real and Maybe Mowbary trips over a few more youngsters with promise. I have liked JRC so far another forward thinking young un. Till Mowbary coaches it out of him at least.
