  1. Just watched the highlights, people weren't exaggerating about Magloire being out jumped for the first goal. Had someone strapped breeze blocks to his boots or something?
  2. Like a child playing football manager "must use all my subs now"
  3. Some got in at 1000-1, think Claytons son had a tenner on that. I got in after the odds had tumbled to 80-1 which I lumped a tenner on. Seen tons of people on the Facebook group have put 10-20 quid on at various odds from 50-1 to 1000-1. Would be interesting to see how much stands to get paid out in total on that bet.
  4. Surely edun as a make shit right back is better than Buckley at wing back?
  5. My mind hasn't changed on mowbrary and I fully expect a collapse at some point in the season but I'd be outraged if we sacked him now while the team has some momentum. Whilst the team is doing well he has an opportunity to change our minds
  6. Just seen the first goal, we're surely going to get sanctioned for swapping out Gallagher for berbatov?
  7. I only got in at 80/1. Still worth a tenner mind
  8. Is that 6 for the season? Aka 14 more till a lot of bets pay off?
  9. Might explain why attendances are so low...
  10. Dislocated ankle that got put back quite quickly. If he's managed to avoid doing damage to his ligaments he's hopefully come out of it much better than expected
  11. Thought he got the ball tbf, both feet weren't off the ground. Thought a red was harsh and based on the outcome rather than the tackle
  12. Fingers crossed but I don't think its as bad as it looked. Hope it's a speedy recovery, great talent
  13. Sterling proved me wrong a bit at the euros but is not world class. Too often he makes the wrong choice or fluffs his lines. Acting on instinct he is class but as soon as you can see he's thinking about what to do next, 9 time out of 10 it'll come to nothing. Rule of thumb is if I can see a pass you should make its already a second or two late but sterling takes another 5 seconds to make a decision after even I've seen the pass.
  14. Good for Chelsea goes missing for England
  15. I know its only Andorra but Bellingham looked class
  16. £1k postage and packing for it to be sent back no doubt.
  17. Is there a mod around? this thread has been taken off topic, this is the 'good news' thread.
  18. WE'RE GOING TO WIN THE WORLD CUP
  19. His missus must be very happy...
  20. The international break doesn't usually fall now dose it? I.e. straight after the window shutting. Usually he'd have to be doing pre match press conferences within a couple of days so he'd have to face the music straight away. Could he be taking advantage of the break knowing that the next prematch conference is over a week after the window shuts so he can trot out the "pffft that was ages ago, it is what it is" line
  21. There's still some fairly big names as free agents, would any of them be worth a pay as you play contract? Even just to have them round the training ground for the youngsters to learn off
  22. Stupid that we've not replaced Armstrong in any capacity but I don't think its going to make a difference in that with or without that striker I don't think we were going up and we weren't going down. Any rational person would say that a lack of striker purchase would mean Sam Gallagher and Diaz are surely coming off the wing now. However rational TM is not. This new left back can also play midfield so there's a very real chance, no tounge in cheek, that he could be playing as a false 9 at some point in his rovers career with Gallagher still out wide. You'd hope that upfront we give our youth a chance, Mcbride and butterworth, but I think even with 1st team injuries, they'll fall victim to Tony's tactical masterclass.
