My favourite one not on that list is when he said "you've got to put them under pressure and force them into making them unforced errors"

Confused by mowbrays comments, was ayala meant to create a domino effect of signings or was he going to get a dominos if ayala signed? Seems like the latter to me.
-
I might have been one of the 7k. The inlaws at the time had a spare ticket for the away end and I'm not one to turn down a freebie. Danny Graham scored the winner if I remember correctly. Oddly i was the only one in the stand who celebrated.

Agreed, I used to go to a lot of boro games with the ex inlaws and thought Ayala was a great CB. Not kept up with them over the past two seasons so dont know if he's changed but the ayala of a acouple of years ago is an exciting signing and at 29 he's still got a good few years in him.
-
When was the second time he got promoted? I remember once with boro but dont recall another.
-
Ayala would be the first time I've got excited about a signing for a while. Hope that one comes off but I shan't hold my breath. The new keeper, Ayala and Cunningham - could we possibly be allowed to get excited about the season?

I seem to have bought it bang inbetween two sales so paid full price. I started off decent but it went down hill after that. Now I've got back in the groove I might start again afresh. One thing that bugged me, I just couldn't get a decent performance out of Dack. Got the odd goal and assist but rarely hitting 7 or above in a match.

Sat with the pup cuddled in watching the champions league final. Happy days.

2 and a half weeks till our season starts and not a sniff of a new GK or CB.
-
He's predominately right back but has covered for robertson at left back but that's more an insight into their lack of options. He looked considerably poorer on the left than on the right so probably wouldnt be tempted to take him at lb and there's no value in disrupting nyambe.

That came in after I paid full whack ?

Always had a crush ?

Cant remember who it was, possibly michael owen when co-commentating was saying how one team needed to put pressure on the other and "force them to make those unforced errors"
-
My other half claimed she would never want to know and would want it to be a surprise until I pointed out she cant watch a tv series without looking up spoilers cos she cant bare not knowing stuff.

Pretty much. Unless its danny murphy and then it's good cop - arse licking cop.

I listen to it on the drive to and from work. I find the breakfast show quite enjoyable when it was Alan Brazil. Durham on the drive home is a troll. He'll say something to get a reaction and just generally be arrogant. Danny Murphy will often play along and say something to try and be that pundit who gives a different angle on everything

Only just clocked this. Getting a black lab. Its 4 and a half weeks old at the moment, we got over to see the breeder for the first time last weekend which has made me dead excited, both mum and dad have a good temperament and dad is a good strong dog. I was never the most confident around dogs when I was younger but always absolutely loved my friends dogs. Always wary of dogs in the park that run up to you but would let my mates dog run all over me.

Weve pretty much been doing that since Steve Kean took over haven't we? We're well ahead of the game.
-
Been about 6 or 7 years since I last played one but I've been really tempted to jump back into the football manager games. Time has moved on since I last did PC gaming, what is the crack now for getting games on a laptop with no disk drive? I looked on steam and FM20 is 40 quid which is a bit steep, can you get them cheaper elsewhere (legitimately)?

On loan from Derby to play 3rd choice - was a confusing move when I saw it. But wages wouldnt be city prices.
-
If I went I'd go back no bother. Assume they'll have some social distancing measures in place.
-
And it's his job to tell them that after the seasons ended isnt good enough and is restricting the club. I've, constructively, told my bosses when things arent working and how we could do things better, it's not an abnormal occurrence in a well run workplace.
-
You've never had to manage upwards because of an incompetent boss? You dont have to be confrontational but theres ways he could put pressure on and nag them to give an answer.
-
I'll be honest I've only ever found it useful when solving these kind of puzzles that pop up on Facebook. You'll probably have been applying it without realising your whole life though.

Didnt tugay famously smoke like a chimney? Wouldnt get in the team under mowbray logic. Personally I dont care about the attitutde off the pitch as long as it's not illegal and doesnt disrupt the rest of the squad. If he does the business on match day then he should play, if he doesnt he should be dropped.
