Venky’s v Indian Government (a)

One of the reasons given for their lack of intention in visiting us for a game was the wish to concentrate on their business in India. I have been puzzled for a long time about how their ineptitude in looking after Rovers has not been reflected in the running of their Indian businesses if they are basically inept at running businesses in general. It would seem that general ineptitude is starting to appear with the group as a whole with substantial reduction in group profits. -

Watched Kristi Montgomery playing for Marine at Chorley yesterday. Not out of place at this level and had a decent game probably one of the better players on view. -

Being reported in India of large fall in share price due to very poor second quarter trading figures. -
There is a lad playing for Chorley who looks a better player Mamadou Toure. He can hold it up and bring others into play.

Do you think our owners are doing even an average job of running the club? -

The fact that they still feel the need to do this after so many years of their ownership says it all in respect of their failure. -

It's a gradual decline can see them ending up like Everton. ETH had 500 million to spend so unlike our owners he was backed with funds .

Print at home ticket wouldn't work today despite a clear bar code. Ended up with a paper ticket from the ticket office. The imperfections in the system means paper will always be needed.
