  1. The ripped jeans lad was playing for Walsall at the time. Think the surname began with O. Think he signed for Bolton. All could be completely wrong.
  2. The style of play is to knock it around at the back until the diagonal wide striker is in space and then play the diagonal. If the pass is successful move up field to support the wide striker in possession and then look to play a ball inside the full back. It's completely one dimensional and prone to breakdown with misplaced passes consequently there is no end product. Without a focal point to the attack who can retain the ball to bring others into play the ball will continue to be turned over. Until JDT grasps this we can expect many more performances like Wigan away. It seems JDT has been on the same coaching courses as Tony Mowbray. Which would you prefer Sam's percentage football or JDT's one dimensional tripe?
  3. Jacob Davenport signed for Lincoln. Nathan Delfounesco signed for Accrington
  4. Clearly a tongue in cheek response from roversfan to an earlier post
  5. Watched Annesley in the pre season game at Chorley. Looked around his level. He is 22 now and only been on loan with Woking. You have to wonder why he is still here?
  6. What stands out for me is that so far Ash has not been prone to the reckless challenge which is so common with centre half's. Quite remarkable for such a young player.
  7. Difficult to catch up if you fall behind at the start of a season due to not playing. Rovers 65/66 comes to mind. At least Coventry can play away games would make sense to swap these home games to an away fixture but I guess that's too simple
  8. Joe Nolan released by Rovers has joined the ranks of ex Rovers at Chorley
  9. So we have never beaten Hartlepool in a competitive match in league or cup.
  10. I see Leighton Clarkson has gone on loan to Aberdeen from Liverpool. Isn't there some mowbray connection to Aberdeen?
  11. I see your point but this season is different with no games for part of November and most of December.
  12. Must be every chance of Ash Phillips making this squad for Swansea. This can't be a bad thing the more he is involved in the first team with potential game time can only present a clear way forward for him here.
  13. I watched Sam Burns against Chorley and he was certainly far too good for that level. Hopefully he will be given a chance to progress.
  14. That's not the point. He put the ball in the net nobody else did.
  15. Just remind me who scored the only goals against Lincoln and Port Vale in pre season. Dack has a gift to find time and space in the box it's instinctive. I don't see any one else with that instinct.
  16. Thanks for the clarification thought at the time it was a very attacking bench hearing obviously still affected by AC/DC!
  17. That applies whether they are outside or inside once the different colour light has been revealed. By ten to three they had given up checking because the queues were that long so if you want to cheat the system the answer appears to be don't come early. As you say group of senior stewards monitoring who comes through the turnstile and the light colour totally removes the long queues.
  18. I thought the whole point of the electronic gate system was that the bar code and number attributed identifies in the system . If it's fake the electronic gate won't open..At which stage those on duty outside the gate step in for further investigation. No need for long queues of bona fide ticket holders then
  19. Huw Turbervill in this months cricketer magazine states personally I think a brilliant CEO is more important than a rich owner. That's what we need.
  20. Sevilla about to pocket 50 million Euros from the sale of Kounde to Barcelona will be in funds to pursue their alleged interest if they wish
