David Bowie - Changes

Went yesterday, did a bit of Mowbray watching as well as taking everything else in. The majority of people around me (BBE) seemed resigned to the fact that were not good enough but there wasn't a great deal of anti TM feeling evident. A poor game/atmosphere/performance coupled with a seeming amount of apathy by fans and players alike. Apart from a few positive blips, this is the Rovers I've spent over 5 decades watching so nothing new there but every so often there needs to be change and this is now Tony's time to go unfortunately, would have liked him to take the club forward as I do believe he is a good football person apart from his team selection, tactics and transfer dealings ? The biggest problem is who to replace him?

Had a pint in there yesterday evening, atmosphere OK, beer was £4.25 which won't go down well in Ossy, fantastic selection of bottled stuff but think they may be missing a trick by not selling any mainstream stuff. Also heard they weren't serving food as there was a problem with the extractors in the kitchen. Good luck to them but reckon it will need to pick up custom from out of the area to be successful as it's a fairly niche market.

Put my head in the door the other night, no one in there and I believe they've stopped serving food now. Not great signs but I'll pop in for a beer at some stage while I'm up.
