Jezzzus it's going to be one miserable month or so on here with no rovers games or even a transfer window to give us something legit to go on about. If we'd have ended on a high it might not have been so bad but the pish poor performance against The dinglets has left the flood doors open for the miserys on here to take centre stage. Lets just forget were in a strong 3rd place and have spent most if not all of the campaign so far in the top 6. The tactics might not be pretty but for the most part they have been relatively effective, although when they fail it becomes a 💩 show. Kind of similar to Allardyce to me in that he set the team up to make points playing in a very specific way and he looked at the bigger picture not just one game.

I think Tomasson defintely needs another quality experienced coach on his team, someone that can give him the right advice on days like these instead of him just being surounded by yes men and bag carriers. I wouldn't say they where much more up for it than they would be in any other home game, they just have better players and they where playing at home

Tomasson still has a lot to learn as a manager, some very odd team selections and no obvious plan b,c.. when things aren't going our way. BUT I am glad he's come hear to learn his trade, nobody really expected us to firmly be in the play off spots this season and most would have been content with mid table considering the squad we have at our disposal. Hopefully our DF and his recruitment team will freshen the squad up in Jan now that theyve had a bit off time to get the lay of the land and hopefully JDT will use some of the break to reflect on things and bring a few fresh ideas to the table when we resume after the crappy world cup garbage.
