  1. I right, yeah cant stand weller, The jam had some great songs obviously and wellers early solo stuff was good, but the last 15 years or so he's just gone dull as dishwater. Didn't he also get pulled for having nonce material on his pc.
  2. Hate to be a cynic (but that's what Mowbray brings out in us/me) but I think tonight was just a little buffer, I'm expecting us to get a proper walloping from Bournemouth now (obviously I'd love to be proved wrong though!!)
  3. I've always thought his voice and personality seemed pretty weak for a manager, but tbf he's had a respectable career in the lower leagues, 100% not the man to take us forward though it would just be a side step (at best) to employ a manager like Grayson, he's definitely a manager like Mowbray who's best days are well behind him.
  4. only 2 gigs there that I personally would pay to see, cant be doing with any of those naff 80s "pop stars" though, not even if they where all on the same bill, doubt they have a gigs worth of good tunes between the lot of them.
  5. well at least tell me who your going on about (before i tell you how shite they areπŸ˜„) ASS!?
  6. The unhappy fans at the remaining games really need to make their feelings heard otherwise i think it's going to be inevitable that the prick is still here at the start of next season for another year of groundhog days.
  7. God! Remember the uproar when it came out that Billy Mckinlay was on the verge of becoming manager! And tbf Mckinlay looked like he had decent credentials at the time in many areas, but he just did have any real managerial experience. But anyway! Looking to the future... Apears as if Pocchetino is going to be available in the summerπŸ‘πŸ‘
  8. Which People? All i vaguely remember is a bunch of local chancers
  9. Chiles Manager seemed to have improved Brereton by a 1000% more in the little spells here and there that he's had him then Mowbray did in over 3 years.
  10. The problem most fans have is not "The venkys" themselves, the problem is with not really knowing who's pulling the strings and to what end! If the venks just came out and said 'look we're just going to help keep the books balanced and debts under control the best we can, but there's not much available for large transfer fees' then you'd accept that, it's not like there's anybody out there that would want to buy the club and pump 100s of millions into the club for transfers, etc... But when false promises are being made and broken and the way the club is run looks crooked as hell from to to bottom it's just miserable and frustrating
  11. 😴😴😴😴
  12. Massive coup for king Georges(and the town) I registered for the raffle but they've been promoting it heavily since it was announced so I think chances of winning a pair of tkts will be very very slim. King Georges hall is such a great venue for live music it's a shame that they don't get many other top quality bands/singers in apart from mainly tribute acts and irrelevant old bands/singers! Always been a firm fixture on the Comedy circuit for top acts though. I do have tkts for Liam Gallagher down at Knebworth this summer tough, But that wouldn't even compare to being able to see him at a far more intimate venue in my hometown though, I don't think even Oasis ever played in blackburn (even when they were just starting out)
  13. Not to mention the permanent signings mowbray has made recently have been relatively sheeiiite for example spending around a million on 2 left backs in the space of 6 months, both of which have played poorly and look out of their depth in the championship!
  14. We might not have paid many particularly high transfer fees since the likes of Brereton, gallagher, Armstrong, etc... But I'm pretty sure signing players on loan from premiership clubs cost upwards of a few hundred K a piece in total (especially when its exciting attacking players) So if you you add up all our loan signings in recent years I figure we've still quietly spent millions per season on bringing them in.
  15. Pretty limp 2 second boo from the home crowd then drowned out my the music. He's 100% in kean territory now, not just a shiite manager but also toxic to the club.
  16. No. you just pick and choose the rumours that you like (or sometimes it just seems like you go along with the rumours that you think will antagonise the most posters)
  17. Dunn (im assuming you mean david!) as assistant (or even just as a coach at any level of the club) wow you've lost the plot there fella. What has Dunn done as a manager or coach to warrant that job? That really would be a step back into the bowyer days of 'jobs for the boys' may as well get colin hendry and craig short back on the coaching team as well πŸ™„
  18. Technically all true, Although if you where to compare the squad again in a month or so's time when all the out of contract players & loanees have gone and Brereton is on the verge of a move away, then I'd say the squad is probably even weaker than when he first took charge. Tony's "Journey" will have been about as enjoyable and fruitful as a lap around Blackburn sat on the back seats of the outer circle at 3pm with a bunch of school kids fannying about around you.
  19. Bit harsh on the players, most of them have shown plenty of potential at stages, I think the problem is how poorly they get coached and managed at first team level by mowbray and his sycophantic lackies. I'm sure with a better pedigree of coaches and a manager that inspires them they all have the potential to be good players (at championship level at least!) MOWBRAY AND CRONIES OUT!!!
  20. That's how Allardyce normally works as well isnt it!?
  21. Which young boys? And who exactly is he developing them for? Because as much as I love seeing home grown players come through... we're not really seeing enough money from it to make it worthwhile, only the players and their agents are really benefiting.
  22. Allardyce has nothing left to offer football and practically retired years ago but still pops up when he gets sniff of a big payday. I find it very funny/ironic that our fiercest rivals are close to becoming a freakshow, they spent the last 10 years bathing in our misfortunes!!
  23. I actually like Solskjaer πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ and would be happy to have him here (not expecting many to agree though πŸ˜„ but i really don't know why not)
  24. All of those managers bar Kean where potted once it was clear that things weren't working and the players weren't responding to them, Mowbray on the other hand is still here 3 years later!
  25. I know its silly but it's only the fact that he's Burnley to the bone that turns me off, under ANY other circumstances I'd take him in a heartbeat! Realistically though i don't think he'd even consider coming here for lots of reasons (unless it was for giant lumps of money) he'll have plenty of suiters at clubs in better positions than us. I think the best thing Dyche could do now is to take a good long break and pick his next job very carefully
